Jaylen Fuller | Prep Hoops Scout
Connor Lyon is a 6-foot-8 forward and a knockdown shooter, making him a cheat code at this level. He can also put the ball on the floor and has improved as a facilitator over the course of this season. Lyons is a solid defender as well being able to guard 3-5.

One of the top shooters and top available prospects in the 2026 class, Lyons poured in 20 points in the victory while showcasing his scoring versatility. He has the size and skill to play either forward spot and stretches the floor with deep range on his jumper. Beyond his shooting, Lyons brings added value with his ball handling and passing ability, allowing him to make plays for himself and others. His blend of size, skill, and shot-making continues to make him a priority prospect for college programs.

Really liked how Lyons was able to finish the basketball inside of the two point line. He converted frequently and time and time again made the game look easy on the offensive end. Lyons put himself in ample spots to rebound. Lyons would be a great addition to a scholarship program.

The sharp shooting senior scored 18 points per game over two days in Maryland. The unsigned senior has high level size and deep range on his consistent jump shot. Lyons can sneak in on the glass and contribute as a rebounder as well and is a good passer.

One of the state’s top shooters, Lyons is back healthy for his senior season. The 6’8 wing has made 49 three point field goals in 15 games this season. Lyons has positional size, is a good passer and has a high basketball IQ. He is also a willing rebounder from the perimeter and should have plenty of suitors in the next few months.

Lyons is a smooth and confident outside shooting big and looks to be healthy after missing most of last season with an injury. On Friday night they came up short to Highland School but he put on a shot making clinic in the first half of that game. The rim was an ocean, he finished with 16 points on 4 made 3s in the first quarter alone in that one, showing his ability to heat up and swing a game as a big. On Saturday it was more of a steady production but he was vital to his team in their bounce back win at both ends of the floor. He walls up well defensively and competes on the glass, now that he’s back healthy, I fully expect his recruitment to start to pick up some more steam, especially if he can continue to rack up performances and moments like this.

Connor continues to be a name that pops up for me and brings intrigue to the court. He is one that has tremendous size at 6’8, moves really well all around the court, understands how to make plays around the basket, but also can show his ability to knock down shots from an array of levels. Tough matchup to have on the court and he will be interesting to watch as he continues to develop.

-Lyons knows what he is in the game to do and lets it fly whenever he has space to shoot on the perimeter. Lyons overcame a slow start to finish 5/9 from beyond the arc to close out a 62-53 win for Loaded VA at the end of a long week. He’s worked on his body to move better defensively but also to have the legs to knock down shots at the end of games, taking and making the right looks to keep Loaded’s offense flowing throughout the game.

up there with any shooter at DMVlive. At 6’7, Connor shoots the ball quickly and gets the ball over players with his frame. Connor had a few huge performances, and at the next level, he would be great if he could sure up a few other parts of his game. Connor averaged 21.5 PPG on 42% from three in session 1, then 17 PPG on 41% from three in session 2. Connor was close to being on my second team, but with all the talent at this event, he is only an honorable mention.
