We had a great turnout for this year's Expo, with 100+ athletes in attendance to compete in front of college coaches and scouts. In the following days we will have evaluations on each participant broken down by team, but for now we will start with the prospects that our scouts voted to the 1st Team for the event. Let's dive in!

-The MVP of the event, our scouts that Belvin had a great showing as a dynamic wing prospect that scores it at a pretty high level. He can take his matchup off the bounce, can stretch the floor with his perimeter shooting, and has a pretty deep finishing bag around the basket. Love the way that he is able to weave through traffic to score around the basket, utilizing his pivot foot but also capitalizing on the space created by jabs or simply turning the corner quickly on his matchup. Belvin should be one of the best players in Baltimore County this season as a versatile wing that has a chance of playing his way into a scholarship.

-Manning was voted the best PG by our scouts in an event that had a ton of talent at his position. Manning did a great job of controlling pace, threw whip passes with either hand off a libe dribble, escaped double teams consistently, and had exquisite timing on his dimes throughout the afternoon. He knocked down open jumpers from all 3 levels but really showed an ability to choose between scoring and distributing each possession based of what the defense was giving him. Should be an immediate impact player for NHA after transferring in and re-classifying to 2028.

-Ayana impressed our scouts with his skill level in the halfcourt as a 3/4 tweener that can put the ball on the floor, hit shots with range, and score with beautiful footwork and finishing craft around the rim. Ayana has a great feel for where the ball is coming off the rim and rebounds well out of his area to give his team additional chances to score. There's also been noticeable strides made to his ability to put the ball on the floor to take it coast to coast-- even against guards--and he has made changes to his diet/exercise routine to trim down and improve his endurance throughout the game.

-Largo has another one on the way in Echebi as a mobile wing prospect that really impressed our scouts with his combination of size and athleticism. The tools really pop as a bouncy vertical leaper that also steps onto a high school campus with an advanced frame and tantalizing set of ball skills. His jumper looked great on C+S or face-up opportunities throughout the afternoon and he competed on the defensive end of the floor as a mobile W/F tweener capable of protecting the rim or sliding on the perimeter. His competitive drive and work ethic should maximize his long term potential as he steps into 3A PG County Basketball looking to win another championship for Coach Ward and co.

-Our scouts came away impressed with the athleticism and motor throughout the afternoon as Royal consistently sprinted to both ends of the floor to serve as a whirling dervish of activity for his team. Royal was very active on the glass, finished well above the rim, and served as an efficient roll/lob threat throughout the afternoon. Really love that he didn't allow a lack of touches or a missed shot to affect his defensive intensity as he usually made it up for it at that end of the floor. While I wouldn't say he's consistently capable of taking it coast to coast, he puts it on the floor well enough to take advantage of a pretty explosive first step to get to the rim with efficiency. Love his upside as a long term prospect that knows his identity as a player and works pretty hard to improve his game.

-Zedak is a guy that continues to impress our staff as a do-it-all guard that can adjust to any role on a team. He is a willing passer that can find teammates from a standstill or off the bounce. He shoots it well from beyond the arc and has good touch around the basket. He has made pretty significant improvements to his finishing bag around the basket, utilizing up fakes and pivots to patiently score around his matchup. And he is extremely unselfish at both ends of the floor as a team defender that is willing to take charges or accept any individual matchup.
