With the calendar flipped to September, prospects throughout the region have begun to announce their future plans at a rapid rate.

Below are ten prospects from New England that recently made their college plans official.

[player_tooltip player_id='2325783' first='Merrick' last='Smith']

Smith, a big man out of Kimball Union Academy, put an end to his recruitment with a commitment to American University. Smith has really developed over the last year and a half, growing more comfortable with the speed of play and physicality. He's highly skilled, has the ability to make catch and shoot jumpers on the perimeter, and can score over either shoulder in the paint. He should have the ability to be a multi-year contributor in the Patriot League.

[player_tooltip player_id='1532462' first='Vincent' last='Osazee']

Osazee, a forward out of Reason Prep Academy, came off the board when he announced that he'll attend Pacific University. Osazee is a big, hybrid forward that makes plays in space and around the rim with his athleticism. He does a nice job of using his frame to play through contact, is a disruptive defender in passing lanes, and can really score the basketball in the paint. He'll quickly be one of the more athletic wings in the WCC and is a quality early commitment for Pacific.

[player_tooltip player_id='2696693' first='Anthony' last='Ferola']

Ferola, a guard out of Portsmouth High School, made his college plans official with a commitment to Colby-Sawyer College. Ferola is a 6'4" wing that has the ability to score the basketball at a multiple levels. He does a nice job of using his length as a finisher around the rim, has soft touch in the mid-range, and can make plays for his teammates off the bounce. He should have the chance to make an immediate impact in the GNAC.

[player_tooltip player_id='2465117' first='Ryan' last='Moesch']

Moesch, a guard out of Cushing Academy, finalized his plans for the next level when he commited to Siena University. Moesch is a nationally ranked prospect that has complete control of an offense in the half-court. He's a capable, late in the clock scorer that thrives in isolation situations. He's a terrific decision maker out of ball screens, knocks down shots at a high rate, and is an absolute gamer competitively. He profiles as an instant impact recruit in the MAAC, with the ability to be a multi-year all-conference performer.

Brady Sullivan

Sullivan, a guard out of Pinkerton Academy, announced his plans for the next level with a commitment to Colby-Sawyer College. Sullivan is a two-way wing that can really shoot the basketball. He does a nice job of moving without the ball on the offensive end of the floor, is capable of running the break in transition, and does a nice job of using his length as a scorer around the rim. His ability to contibute on both ends of the floor makes him a good fit in the GNAC.

[player_tooltip player_id='1532640' first='Quinn' last='Costello']

Costello, a forward out of the Newman School, wrapped up his plans for the future when he announced that he'll attend the University of Michigan. Costello has a unique offensive game and, at 6'10", presents as a mismatch at the forward spot. He's developed his game off the bounce, makes threes consistently in catch and shoot situations, and is using his athleticism to his advantage as a finisher around the rim. He's got a high basketball IQ and has some defensive versatility as well. He's a terrific piece for Michigan that should continue to improve and could grow into an all-league performer in the Big Ten.

[player_tooltip player_id='2875628' first='Wesley' last='Waddles']

Waddles, a wing out of the New Hampton School, put an end to his recruitment when he committed to the University of Maine. Waddles has a sturdy, 6'6" frame and guard skills on the offensive end of the floor. He plays at his own pace, has good vision with the ball in his hands, and is a high level rebounder both in space and in traffic. He's a terrific fit at Maine with his defensive versatility and ability to make a two-way impact.

[player_tooltip player_id='2396726' first='Jaylin' last='Williams-Crawford']

Williams-Crawford, a forward out of CATS Academy, came off the board when he committed to Towson University. Williams-Crawford is an elite defender, capable of guarding any spot on the floor. He protects the rim with his athleticism, locks up ball-handlers with his mobility, and is disruptive in passing lanes with his length. He's continued to evolve on the offensive end of the floor and impresses as a cutter, finisher, and rebounder. He'll look to make an immediate impact in the CAA, where he profiles as one of the better wing defenders from Day 1.

[player_tooltip player_id='2341352' first='Jaxson' last='Terry']

Terry, a guard out of CATS Academy, finalized his future plans when he announced that he will attend Loyola University Chicago. Terry has some nice size for the guard spot and is capable of operating as an off-ball scorer or secondary playmaker. He does a nice job of using screens, with and without the ball in his hands, and is capable of scoring in catch and shoot situations or in isolations off the bounce. He's a quality recruit in the Atlantic-10, where he could eventually become one of the league's best scoring guards.

[player_tooltip player_id='2553499' first='Adama' last='Tambedou']

Tambedou, a forward out of Putnam Science Academy, ended his recruitment when he announced that he will attend the University of Maryland. Tambedou packs a ton of athleticism and power into his 6'8" frame and is in the argument for being the hardest playing forward in the country. He's a terrific two-way rebounder, is hard to guard when he gets downhill, and has the ability to defend at an all-league level. He's a terrific fit in the Big Ten, where his combination of athleticism, power, and size should give him a chance to make an early impact.

With the calendar flipped to September, prospects throughout the region have begun to announce their future plans at a rapid rate.
