All Freshman Showcase Team

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Our Prep Hoops team had scouts at every court throughout the event and this is what we came together with all the All Freshman Showcase team!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">First Team</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2954679' first='King' last='Smith'] of Hopkins. What's next? Hopkins is pretty deep so I would assume King will be a very good junior varsity players for a year and maybe played a little varsity.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2848538' first='Justus' last='Dayee'] of Tartan. What's next? Dayee already scored 11 a game in the Metro East at Simley, and now he goes to Tartan where they don't have a ton of size up front and should fit. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2893786' first='Adonis' last='Williams Jr'] of South St. Paul. What's next? Talent is there to help this team in a playmaking way soon.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2815903' first='Tchidi' last='Ejimadu'] of Park Center. What's next? I am going to assume he is still at PC although every time I have done that, they end up someplace else. But if he is at PC, he is a nice piece to start with as they move into a new era. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2454248' first='Elijah' last='Christenson'] of Rogers. What's next? Eli was very good this 14u season and then at this camp. Good skill and length, Rogers has a lot of spots to fill, maybe he has a solid varsity role I would assume. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Second Team</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2905843' first='Cody' last='Woitel-Anschutz'] of Breck What's next? Breck has a couple key guys back but they were hurt by transfers so there are several spots open. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2916849' first='Mekhi' last='Abner'] of Minnehaha Academy. What's next? Abner could fit very well right next to [player_tooltip player_id='2436914' first='Kellen' last='Troup'] up front for the Hawks. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2768036' first='Jemierre' last='Davis'] of DeLaSalle. What's next? the Islanders are very deep at guard, very deep. I am going to say JV but the Islanders are so deep at guard I am guessing it could be a couple younger levels.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2955406' first='Lamar' last='Mcbride'] of Minneapolis Camden. What's next? Lamar scored eight points a game for Camden last year on varsity so I would say he could hit double figures this winter. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2782368' first='Wesley' last='Guanzini'] of Centennial. What's next? I would expect at least JV for Centennial but they have a lot of open spots because of graduation so varsity role seems like a thing that could happen.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2896436' first='Madani' last='Camara'] of St. Cloud Tech. What's next? I have heard Tech, I have heard Cathedral, whichever it is, Camara has the power to help early in his career.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Third Team</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2391153' first='Tolu' last='Taiwo'] of Stillwater. What's next? I would have assumed maybe JV this year but there is some spots up front so maybe he sees some time this year but I would assume JV.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Caleb Williams of Rochester Lourdes. What's next? Caleb is an outstanding playmaker and Lourdes needs playmaking help. I could see him playing varsity this year. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2456461' first='Timmy' last='Thomas'] of TBD. What's next? Tough to say where as we haven't heard where he is going to school but a nice player. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2434106' first='Jewhan' last='Edwards'] of DeLaSalle. Same as Davis, the Islanders are stacked at guard in their junior and sophomore classes. So stacked that very good players will be on JV from those groups. I would assume Edwards is at the younger levels.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2923915' first='Jovan' last='Clay'] of St. Louis Park. What's next? The O's have returning guards but I could see Clay playing some JV this year. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2848504' first='Liam' last='Jensen'] of Park Center. What's next? Jensen is a raw big but he has some size. Enough size to play JV maybe early. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
