is a five-foot-ten-inch 2029 Minneapolis North guard that is one of the best perimeter defenders in the 2029 class. Davis exhibits quick hands and feet and quick lateral movement ability. Davis is a player that has an array of below the rim finishing lay-ups that he makes with some pretty solid touch. Davis is also just about to point of dunking as a finisher showcasing a possible leap in athleticism. Davis showed some shot creation ability and better jump shooting at the class and he will need to grow as a creator and lead ball handler and not just an attack guard.

– The five-foot-eleven-inch 2029 Minneapolis North guard who was at DeLaSalle last year is a dynamic perimeter defender. Davis has great lateral quickness on the perimeter using longer arms than his height to help keep opposing guards out of the paint and also getting deflections and knockaways that he can generally corral. Davis uses that quickness to also get downhill quickly off the dribble and he hits seams fast from the wing with the ball.

Jemierre Davis – The 2029 Minneapolis North point guard had a fantastic 2nd half for D1 Minnesota 3SSB 2029 in their win against Power 5. Davis scored 8 points, had 6 steals, and 5 assists, Davis used his lateral quickness with his feet and hands to nab steals on the perimeter and lock up ball handlers and then used the same quickness to find open teammates for scores.

Jemierre is such a fiery competitor and he was bringing all the energy and effort in the 15U title game. The 5’11” freshman guard is an excellent defender and was making opposing ball handlers make mistakes all game. He was constantly applying pressure, picking up full court. He has great instincts and was forcing turnovers which turned into easy baskets on the other end. Davis is also a great creator, as he was working inside where he could score himself or kick out to an open teammate.

Davis is an active and athletic power at the Guard position. She moves well off of the ball as a SG or CG but he thrives when the rock is in his possession as a PG. Her mixture of athletic ability and skill helps him get to the hoop with ease offensively. From there he usually makes a bucket on either side of the hoop and if he happens to miss then he is the type who can go right back up and grab his own miss for another attempt quicker than anyone else around him. Defensively, he holds his own. He beats his opponents to their spots a good amount of the time and if he doesn’t, he has great recovery time. It was a good weekend for Davis as a whole. He stood out in his own moments and that was impressive with the team he is running with.

Jemierre adds a lot of value to a team as a lead guard, being a positive impact on both ends of the floor. He is an excellent creator, as his game has a nice blend of scoring and passing. He is quick and strong, being able to work around his defender with speed, converting on some difficult finishes inside. He is also a threat from deep, knocking down some second half threes to open the game up. Davis also brings energy and intensity on defense, applying pressure and getting on the floor for loose balls.

Jemierre is another DeLaSalle freshman that impressed on Saturday. His team was running a full-court press, and Jemierre’s speed allowed him to come up with steals in bunches as he seemed to be in multiple spots at once defensively. He was cutting opposing guards off on the ball, was sprinting in for traps, and jumped a few passes for tips/steals. Davis was a blur in the open floor, and at 5’10 he showed the explosiveness and body control to finish over the top of taller defenders around the rim.
