Wilson is every bit of 6’9 and when he called for the ball on the block players finally got it to him. The guards at this level don’t know how to feed the post so they get scared and don’t, but when they did, Wilson had his way with the defense on the block. Buffalo is stacked so not sure how much an incoming sophomore will play but if they want to use size, Wilson knows how to help a team with that size.

At a type of event where the bulk of the shots end up being taken by guards, Connor wasn’t always getting a ton of touches on the ball. That didn’t stop him from showing some of the other ways he can contribute. When he was able to get the ball on the block, double-teams often came quick, and Connor did a great job of seeing the floor and kicking it out to an open shooter. Wilson worked hard on the glass, and chinned the ball after every rebound to avoid coughing up possession. He moves pretty well at 6’10, able to keep up with the fast paced style of play you see at these types of events.
