These senior guards are some of the top guys at their schools, yet still they fly a little under the radar. It is clear to see when you watch them play that these guards deserve more recognition, and they've all been building momentum heading into their senior seasons. Here are some sneaky good 2026 guards.

Karl's a pretty fundamental guard who can run both guard spots thanks to his careful presence with the rock, and a sweet stroke from behind the arc. He's got a great blend of patience, selflessness, and aggression that helps him fit into a variety of lineups. He's tough too, and will play a big role for Edmonds-Woodway this season.

Brooks is only listed at 6-foot-3, but his length and athleticism make him seem taller, and one can guess that's how ballhandlers feel when he matches up. He's a lengthy defender who has quick hands to disrupt on the ball and can really rack up steals, pokes, and strips. He's also a fairly fluid ballhandler who can get to his spots in the midrange and around the paint, where he has a reliable jumper. He's an athlete at the rim too, and should be a kid to watch this winter.

Bierlink has been putting up big numbers at Quincy and really does it all for the Jackrabbits, even guarding 6-foot-8 posts. He's a tough guard who has made big strides defensively and with his downhill game over the last year, and when you pair that with his electric outside shooting, it's no wonder why he's one of our sneaky good guards. He ended the summer on a heater and should compete for the CWAC MVP this winter.

Smith is a highly skilled guard who will be making the move to Kennedy Catholic this winter. He's starred at Archbishop Murphy in past years as a point guard who can score the rock and fill the stat sheet, and he should come into the season as one of the Lancers' top scorers. He does it with a variety of slick moves, side-steps, pivots, and smooth finishes. The lefty can score from each level and will be one to watch this winter.

One of the most fundamentally sound guards in his class and a complete all-around point man, Williams plays the position like a real showrunner who can limit turnovers, set up teammates in various ways, and defend his position at a high level. He's a physical guard too and will once again be leading Jackson this winter.
