Expert Analysis
Ryan Morgan | Prep Hoops Scout
One of the most fundamentally sound guards in his class and a complete all-around point man, Williams plays the position like a real showrunner who can limit turnovers, set up teammates in various ways, and defend his position at a high level. He’s a physical guard too and will once again be leading Jackson this winter.

Seamus is a quick guard who has been steadily improving on the court in big ways. He makes plays on the defensive side of the ball that lead to easy transition buckets for himself. His ability to create space to get his shot off has improved which has led to a consistent mid-range shot when he gets to his spots. He’ll be a main option to Jackson next year and should thrive.

Seamus is a fantastic point guard who can defend at a high level. He runs the pick and roll really well, using his screens off the right angle and hitting his big man who roles hard down the paint. Williams rebounds well for a guard, always crashing the glass and using his athleticism to grab the ball high off the glass. He’ll be a big time player for Jackson next season, being one of the best passers in the class.

Williams was a true point guard who defended, set up teammates, and scored when needed last season. This year, he’ll be without a couple of key graduates of the 2024 class, and should be relied on even more to score and create. He has the strength and tenacity to consistently make plays in the paint and is a two-way player you don’t want to miss this June.

Seamus was named honorable mention in the WESCO and had a very improved season. He’s grown a little and is likely not done yet. The thing that stands out for Williams is his grit on defense and wanting to win. He will fully guar the opposing teams best player and will bring the intensity to stop them and fire up his own team. I’m excited to see how his offensive game grows over the summer.

. He was in full deny for much of the game, limiting the opposing guard to zero first half points. It was a very impressive effort from Williams and shows his competitive fire as well as his defensive prowess. With the effort, Williams helped Jackson win the game and vault themselves into first place in their league. Look out for this hardworking sophomore to keep raising his stock with performances like that.

Williams has stepped into a starting role with the Timberwolves this season and been a do-it-all point guard, helping Jackson out to a 6-2 start. He leads the team with 3.1 assists per game but also contributes in just about every other category. He’s a strong kid with good balance, quick feet, and a desire to compete defensively. He runs the fast break really well, keeps all options alive and shows a good floater from the middle. He’s proven to be a smart player which helps him affect the game in a lot of ways and fill a ton of gaps for Jackson.
