He’s starred at Archbishop Murphy in past years as a point guard who can score the rock and fill the stat sheet, and he should come into the season as one of the Lancers’ top scorers. He does it with a variety of slick moves, side-steps, pivots, and smooth finishes. The lefty can score from each level and will be one to watch this winter.

Smith is a lanky guard who is fantastic off the dribble making things happen. He can run the show, facilitate out of numerous looks, and has the ability to go get a bucket with his ability to attack gaps and get to the hoop. He played a big role with Archbishop Murphy last season and has looked like one of the top creators with Hoopland this spring.

Ira handles the ball well and is able to get downhill efficently, with either hand. His dribbling moves have only improved since last season after his big sophomore year campaign. Smith finds his teammates when they are open on the outside, hitting them perfectly in their shooting pockets. Smith is a point guard to watch next season.

Ira stepped up and was the main facilitator and ball handling guard for Archbishop Murphy. He has great speed and can get downhill well with a quick crossover move. He reads what the defense gives him well, running the pick and roll to an elite level helping his teammates get open.

Quick guard who can get downhill from the perimeter using various moves to create space and go. Lefty but does well driving to either direction and has some crafty ability to create space at the rim. Can really cut the defense up at times and does a good job mixing up his moves while staying controlled. Can shoot it a bit from 3 too and was the focal point for his team this season while running the point, scoring and getting teammates involved.
