Ghoreishi made his return for Mt. Spokane in Tacoma, after an extended absence to end the regular season. You could tell they were a different team with him out there, not just patrolling the paint on defense, but with the attention he drew on the offensive end no matter where he caught the ball. Even while playing just over 20 minutes a game in their three games at the Tacoma Dome, Ghoreishi finished in the top-10 in blocks, rebounds, and scoring.

One of the top players in Washington’s 2026 class, Ghoreishi is a monster rebounder and can play above the rim. Colorado State’s 2026 class is a favorite of mine at the mid-major level as I believe all three of their signees have a chance to play immediately. Ghoreishi had a big summer on the Puma Circuit and added numerous mid-major offers in the month of July. Picking a program that’s had success developing under the radar high school prospects at similar positions to Ghoreishi should give him an opportunity to carve out a role and potentially a pro career in the future.

Ghoreishi was a force around the rim, with multiple big blocks and pins, countless shots altered, and a whole lot of dunks. He also used his length to lunge through gaps and finish at the cup, highlighting his size and length, making sure his advantage was felt in the paint. But he also displayed his skill with the ball and from the perimeter, delivering on-time passes from different spots, and showed his willingness to be a playmaker when defenses were focused on him.

It wasn’t as efficient a performance as his first game in the Dome, but Ghoreishi came alive when it mattered most and delivered another win for Mt Spokane. Bellarmine held him and the rest of the Wildcats in check for most of the game, but Ghoreishi flipped a switch in the fourth quarter and led a comeback that resulted in an overtime win. He finished the night with 19 points and 12 rebounds while coming up huge at the foul line (11/11 FT).
