Solo was one of the more impressive guards on the day. He had an extremely tight handle. Overall was one of the most fundamentally sound players at the showcase. He impressed in 5 on 5 with his ability to change pace on a dime. He looked the part of a true point guard. Handled pressure, did not turn the ball over. For his size he was extremely strong with the ball. West Jessamine has a true PG for the future with Solo.

Jaylan really began to impress me in the 3 on 3 and continued into the 5 on 5. Despite being only 5'5, he had multiple finishes at the rim amongst significantly larger defenders. He scored tough timely buckets for his 5 on 5 team. Even though he could get a bucket when he needed, he seemed to always make the right play when he had the ball. Jaylan can be a deadly combo guard for Ashland down the line as he continues to grow.

Great Crossing has an absolute work horse in [player_tooltip player_id='2381670' first='Lincoln' last='Moore']. Lincoln impressed in both 3 on 3 and 5 on 5 with his defensive ability. He had multiple deflections and steals throughout every game. His coach had him trapping and guarding full court. He was very strong, did not get knocked off his spot at all. In transition he had multiple assists with little to no turnovers. He also has the ability to knock down shots.

Eli was one of the most athletic players at the event. He had many highlight plays that stood out. Eli had a very quick first step, burned almost every defender off the dribble. He played down hill all day. Eli also impressed with his elite vision. He will dominate for DuPont Manual on both ends of the floor as he also was another strong defender that could keep guys in front and not get knocked off his spot.

At 6'3, Aidan truly impressed with his ability to play inside and out. Aidan was one of the better shooters at the event during the live scrimmages. In the 5 on 5 game that I seen him play, he hit 4+ 3s. Daviess has a stud with his ability to impact both ends of the floor. He had multiple big blocks in a close game. He crashed the offensive glass hard and scored from that as well. If Aidan can continue to grow and put on some muscle as well, the 3rd region will have their hands full.

Playing for a stacked St X team, D'mario was a guy that I personally hadn't heard of going into the day. He had that changed by the end of the day. He is a true combo guard, that can make impact plays on both ends of the floor. He picked up in the full court with multiple turns and steals. Offensively when he got down hill, he was too strong for smaller guards to stop. He finished over multiple defenders multiple times. He has the ability to be one of the best players in the 7th region for years to come.

Brayden was another guy that I personally did not know going into the showcase. He was one of the most naturally athletic guys at the event. He was a guy that made winning plays and hustle plays left and right. He kept multiple possessions alive by crashing the glass, and his sneaky athleticism had him able to score downhill. West Jessamine will benefit from him as he continues to develop.

In the game that I saw, Jay showed glimpses of what I would consider a Bucket Getter. He was a small quick shift guard that scored at all three levels. Despite his size, he had every defender biting on any jab or fake which lead to a bucket almost every time. He knocked down multiple step back/contested 3s. I was impressed by his ability to play off 2 feet in the paint despite his age. Central has a true get to his spot and get a bucket guy coming up the ranks.
