Davie was the engine to a Wildcat Select 15 U win this morning as he did a little bit of everything for his team. A skilled forward who can have the offense run through him, Davie can attack off the dribble and make advanced reads as a passer. Davie also used his size to score at the rim and grab rebounds at both ends of the court. Davie also goes into contact on drives, allowing him to stay on balance against the defense. If Davie can quicken his release as a perimeter shooter, he's going to be a nightmare to defend over the next few years.

A point guard who got wherever he wanted on Thursday, Brown was living in the paint and either scoring or going to the foul line almost every time he got downhill off the dribble. Able to attack with both hands at a high level, I had a college coach tell me he wrote down ‘lefty' after Brown had two strong takes with his left hand. Brown isn't a lefty, he's just that talented going left. If Brown can consistently make 3-point shots on the circuit, his recruitment has a chance to blow up this month.

One of the most naturally talented players in Kentucky, Jarvis can make plays few other players in the state can make. Off a SLOB Jarvis made a cut and dunked with two defenders closing in to contest the shot. Defensively Jarvis also had an incredible block that few guards would be able to reach at the rim. When Jarvis is locked in on the defensive end of the court, good things happen for his team. One of the highlight plays of the day came when Brown threw an alley oop to Jarvis who threw it down with authority. With so many mid major targets on this Midwest Basketball Club 16 U squad, I think each player on the team will help others get offers as they played excellent team basketball on the offensive end.

I liked what I saw from Lowe who made a handful of plays for a Wildcat Select squad that found a way to win on Thursday evening. Lowe is an aggressive downhill slasher who can attack a closeout and score at the rim. Playing with a sense of urgency, Lowe is confident with the ball in his hands and tries to create plays off the bounce. I also thought Lowe's passing in the pick and roll game stood out. A stock rising performance from a guard who could be the face of Newport basketball after two of his teammates announced they were leaving for Prep schools this week.

One of the most talented scorers in Kentucky, I wasn't able to catch Keathley's 30+ point explosion on Wednesday but did see what he did on Thursday Vs some talented athletes for Team Loaded. Keathley has a scorers mentality and is looking to find a way to get by you or create space to pull-up. One of the most skilled players in Kentucky, Keathley checks a lot of boxes you'd look for in terms of his offensive bag. Recently picking up an offer from Bowling Green, I'd expect more mid major programs to get involved in Keathley's recruitment sooner rather than later.
