Prep Hoops Havoc in the Heartland – Kyler’s Saturday Standouts

The Prep Hoops Indiana Staff was in the house for the second day and got to see some big time performances. Got a chance to watch him on Saturday and was impressed with his play in transition. Had a few slams and showed his a smooth midrange jumper. He has a am true build already for his age and plays almost like an upperclassman. Athletic build with a smooth jumper. He is at all wing that made his presence felt around the rim. The pick-and-roll game was there all day with him catching high arching passes and finishing around the rim a ton. Taller player that can be a bit of microwave scorer at times scoring inside-and-out. A good slasher that can make plays both on and off the ball. A high motor player with a ton of athleticism, Combs was nearly unstoppable around the rim vs LVL. Made a ton of plays off the ball and was constantly attacking the defense in the lane. Stronger build on the wing but has some smoothness to his game. Knocked down a few outside jumpers while also willing to attack the defense as well. Overall has some good handles and would mix it up in the lane at times. Thought he had some flashy plays around the rim but his main thing is just finishing a little better. Was nearly unstoppable in transition and showed a very tight handle on the ball when he would get out and run.
