Jaylin has been one of the best players in the 5th region for the past couple of seasons and that doesn't look to be changing anytime soon. While Craine is at his best as a scoring point, he can also facilitate and has been able to show that at times this AAU season when he's had more talent on the court with him. He holds a couple of early offers from Jacksonville State and EKU.

McGillis has had a big time spring and looks to ride that wave into the June and July live periods. Athens is part of a returning core at Covington Catholic that is likely to be the best in the 9th region, depending on who returns to Newport this fall. McGillis has proven to be a good shot maker and has been able to play with the ball in his hands pretty much the entire spring so he's been able to showcase his abilities. He recently was offered by Stetson.

McGillis' backcourt mate for the AAU season, Anthony is a very different player than Athens. Blaackar is a downhill driver and facilitator who is at his best when he's getting paint touches. Blaackar is not a bad shooter but prefers to be in attack mode at all times instead of taking jumpers. The 6'2 guard has the tools to be a two way menace at the college level.

Malachi is a scoring point guard who is both quick and fast. He possesses an elite first step and excels at getting into the painted area on offense. Ashford has quick hands on the defensive end and is a solid on the ball defender who can really pressure the ball when he wants to. Over a year removed from a bad leg injury that put him out for about 6 months, Ashford holds early offers from EKU and ETSU heading into the summer.

Miles made noise last week when he transferred across the region from Paducah Tilghman to McCracken County. That should put McCracken County on the short list of best teams in the state and will be favorites to get to Rupp. As a player, Woodfork can score the ball at a high level. He's very skilled and has a tight handle with the ability to finish through bigger defenders at the rim. He's one of the biggest sleepers in the state, in my opinion.
