<p>The top overall shooting guard is <strong><em>[player_tooltip player_id='2487641' first='Desmond' last='Bellot']</em></strong>, who holds the <strong><em>#14</em></strong> spot in the overall rankings. A heady, versatile guard, Bellot had a strong junior campaign at <em>CATS Academy</em>, proving to be a capable scorer and creator throughout. He gets to his spots off the bounce, makes good decisions with the ball in his hands, and has the ability to make shots in bunches with range.</p>

<p>An elite athlete with a motor to match, Edmond shined this winter for <em>Putnam Science Academy</em>. He has great positional size and combines that with a motor that never stops running to be one of the region's top perimeter defenders. He covers a lot of ground quickly, can hound opposing ball-handlers with his length, and is a strong defensive rebounder. Offensively, he can really get out in transition and makes loud plays by the rim. He's come along as a shooter and creator off the bounce and now consistently knocks down shots in the mid-range and from behind the arc.</p>

<p><strong><em>[player_tooltip player_id='2341371' first='Chase' last='Geremia'] #34</em></strong></p>

<p>One of the top perimeter shooters in New England, Geremia was a star in his role this season for the <em>Newman School</em>. He has the ability to create space off the dribble, but also shows the knowledge of how to use screens to get open off the ball. He's in constant movement on the offensive end of the floor, quickly gets into his shot, and does a nice job of elevating to shoot over the defense. He's leveraging his shooting to open up driving lanes and shows a good feel for the game and soft touch as a scorer when he gets inside the paint. He competes defensively and can guard either spot in the back-court.</p>

<p><strong><em>[player_tooltip player_id='2341360' first='Andre' last='Langley'] #47</em></strong></p>

<p>A long and lean propsect on the wing, Langley proved to be one of the better young guards in New England this winter at <em>Holderness</em>. At 6'5", he has long arms, shows good burst off the bounce, and can cover ground quickly with long strides. He does a great job in isolation situations, getting by his defender and drawing the help, then finding teammates for dump downs at the rim or open shots from behind the arc. With his athleticism and length, he's a quality finisher in the paint, and, his shot has continued to improve from behind the three. Defensively, he's a standout that uses his physical tools to make an impact on the ball and in passing lanes.</p>

<p><strong><em>[player_tooltip player_id='2407064' first='Anthony' last='DeJohn'] #89</em></strong></p>

<p>A big guard that can really shoot the ball, DeJohn was a consistent contributor this season for <em>Worcester Academy</em>. With good size on the perimeter, he's able to see over the defense as a passer and does a good job of making plays within the flow of the offense. He's a good shooter that also operates as a strong off ball cutter. He consistently finds open passing windows, is always shot ready on the catch, and does a nice job of elevating into his jumper. He has in the gym range and a quick trigger in catch and shoot situations. He's got a solid frame and good athleticism, both of which allow him to make an impact defensively.</p>

<p>Rodene is a big time athlete and scorer that has improved at a rapid rate over the last year and impressed in his first season at the <em>Bright School</em>. He's got a compact frame, but packs a lot of athleticism and strength into it. He has a quick first step when attacking the basket and the ability to make shots off the catch or the dribble. He knows how to play in ball screens, showing the ability to get his own baskets or to find teammates for open shots. He's great at drawing fouls and shoots a high percentage from the free throw line. Defensively, he can really guard in space and uses his quickness to create plenty of steals.</p>

<p>A quality scorer at <em>Kimball Union Academy</em>, Arnold took his game to another level this winter. The off guard is really good with the ball in his hands, showing a good feel for the game and the understanding of how to create space with his bounce. He changes directions quickly, has some wiggle in space, and does a good job of keeping his dribble live on his drives. He's a tough shot maker that really impresses in isolation situations, where he can rise up and finish over the defense. On the other end, he's a tough on ball defender that plays physically on the ball and forces plenty of turnovers.</p>

<p>A dynamic scoring guard, Young was a quality piece this winter for <em>South Kent</em>. He's a shot maker from behind the arc, showing impressive skill in catch and shoot situations. He moves well without the ball, runs the floor hard in transition, and is typically shot ready on the catch. His ability to consistently make shots opens up his driving game and he's proven capable of using good burst to get to the rim as a driver. Defensively, he can guard either perimeter spot, showing the ability to move well laterally, keep opponents out of the paint, and to make plays in passing lanes.</p>

<p>Marquez is a big guard that is at his best playing in space, both offensively and defensively. His instincts on the defensive end of the floor are good and he uses his size and length to make an impact in passing lanes. When he creates steals, he does a good job of turning defense into transition offense. On the other end of the floor, he does a nice job of getting to the rim off the bounce, showing the ability to finish with either hand at the rim or to make shots with touch over size. While he's at his best in transition, he does a nice job of making shots from behind the arc in catch and shoot situations.</p>

<p>A high IQ guard at the <em>MacDuffie School</em>, Thompson showed continued improvement to his game during his junior year. Offensively, he can really shoot the ball and does so with deep range. He's capable of making shots in catch and shoot situations, but also impresses as a movement shooter. He's in constant motion on the offensive end of the floor and does a good job of relocating to find open passing windows. He knows how to get into his driving game and can finish at the rim with length. Defensively, he has good size and length on the perimeter, and when combined with his understanding of team defense, shows the ability to guard multiple positions while also making plays off the ball.</p>

<p>A big guard with a quick trigger on his jumper, Pires had a strong junior campaign for <em>Marianapolis</em>. He has a solid frame and plus athleticism, both of which make him a tough cover on the defensive end of the floor. With his ability to consistently make shots from behind the arc, he can open up driving lanes where he uses his frame to finish plays through contact at the rim. Defensively, his physical tools allow him to guard multiple positions while also impacting games by creating turnovers. He rebounds in space and in traffic and once the ball changes hands, he can really run the floor in transition.</p>
