I told you about Ross this fall. The young man can go and go at a fast pace. He plays head up and north-south. Ross has the ability to help his team make a huge state playoff run. With the ball in Ross' hands, and a talented team around him, sky is the limit.

Let's just stick in the same District 49 as Ross above. I've got my eye on a potential rematch for Goodrich in the finals. LePla is one of the biggest matchup nightmares in the state and has the ability to help Goodrich beat basically anyone at anytime.

I'll admit, my eyes snuck up the bracket and had visions of a Summerville v. Ross matchup in the Regional Finals. That's what I mean though when I say players that can influence the bracket. The silky smooth Summerville can do just that.

Junge and his Flat Rock squad split the regular season matchups with New Boston Huron, but with Junge leading the way a win is more than possible. How far can they go? I really believe they can get deep in the tournament if Junge is feeling his game. Maybe a regional semifinal tilt with another elite senior guard could be fun right?

I know, you expected to see [player_tooltip player_id='1292036' first='Stevie' last='Elam']'s name here. Elam's always been Elam. Why did Adrian have such a great season? Enter J5. He had a breakout junior season and did a great job not just taking pressure off Elam, but excelling as a shooter and scorer in the process. If Elam AND Francis are rolling, they'll be an incredibly tough out in the playoffs.

When I watched Houser play earlier this season, he was beyond good. He played big on defense and was efficient with a versatile attack on offense. If he plays the way I saw him play, a Houser and [player_tooltip player_id='1438260' first='Amir' last='Perryman'] attack is something other teams don't want to see.

When you can literally do everything and do it all at a high level, I'd say that you can have a big influence on a playoff bracket. Thompson can turn the corner for his Whitehall team in so many facets of the game, from defensive stops, to hitting the glass, to putting points on the board by the bunches.

Not all superheroes wear capes, but with the way that Frakes flies through the air, I'll bet that he does. Frakes might be the best pure athlete in the state regardless of Division. In Division 2, if he gets in the open floor consistently, who's going to stop him?

District 47 should be a fun one to watch with elite athletes in a lot of different places. Berrien Springs v. Benton Harbor Part 3 could be fun. Lewis has had a breakout senior season, pacing Benton Harbor on the offensive end. He's a dynamic playmaker that could take the Tigers deep in the bracket.

Warren Lincoln is looking for a back to back and [player_tooltip player_id='1437541' first='Markus' last='Blackwell'] is just the type of player that can lead the way. He's tough and smart with the ball in his hands, having the ability to both stop and change directions on a dime. Quite simply, Blackwell can flat out make plays and create. He can do this all the way to a state championship.
