. He had 20 plus points in the game, utilizing his knockdown jumper and his next level speed with the ball. But we know the offensive stuff about him. Elam also made big plays on the defensive end. He had multiple steals and had a big statement making block on the baseline.

Elam was just so impressive last night in a win against Saline. He can throw up 20 without you even realizing it. In my opinion, Milwaukee is getting a steal in this star. Elam had 27 points on the night.

The Milwaukee commit showed out in a hard fought win against Detroit Central. He led all scorers with an eye-popping 33 points. He has a strong frame and it helped him earn a good number of trips to the free throw line, especially in the second half. Elam started out his scoring by showing elite athleticism with a dunk of a nice wing cut to the rim. He’s always been beyond dangerous shooting from the corners and he was again in this game, both off the bounce and the catch.

One of the top scorers in Michigan, Elam averaged 29 a game as a Junior and is already the all-time leading scorer at Adrian. Coming into the weekend with one MAC offer from Eastern Michigan, Elam ends the weekend with another as Miami (OH) offered on Saturday night after watching Elam impress. A big time scorer, Elam is able to create his own shot and has the burst and pull-up shooting to be a threat out to 25 feet. I liked the motor Elam played with too, pushing the pace and trying to cause havoc defensively. It would be nice to see Elam surrounded by more talent to see where his creation for others stands, regardless, Elam is one of the most talented on ball creators in Michigan’s 2025 class.

This name being on the list isn’t surprising at all. Elam is just going to be bigger, faster and stronger this winter and he’s put that on display so far this weekend. A great sign for Elam and his Adrian team is that it’s actually been his defense that’s stood out the most.

Elam has exploded this season at Adrian. To be honest though, everyone pretty much saw it coming. He has quick offensive feet, blow by speed and elite handles. Elam can finish with flare at the rim and has range beyond the arc.

This one feels obvious. Saying Elam was as good as advertised wouldn’t be accurate. He was better. Elam consistently created space for his shot by moving defenders with his ball handling. He’s an excellent shooter and powerful on the drive. I was very impressed with his work in, and his jumper from, the mid range.

Elam is wicked with his handles. I love the way he uses the ball to create space for both his shot and to make a move off of. Elam can use his handles to get defenders reaching and immediately on his hip.
