South Bend Riley 56 Park Tudor 38

The Wildcats jumped out to an early lead, led by double figures at the half, and went on to win by 18 points. Park Tudor made a little bit of noise out of the halftime break, but never could really put much game pressure on a veteran South Bend Riley group. Junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2398991' first='Tyrese' last='Jones'] led Riley with 17 points while senior [player_tooltip player_id='1297088' first='Marvin' last='Schindler'] added 12 points. [player_tooltip player_id='1297056' first='Jaylen' last='Barbara'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1296980' first='Brandon' last='Williams'], both seniors, chipped in 10 points a piece. Senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='1525681' first='Eli' last='Bennett'] scored 15 points in the loss for Park Tudor.

Carmel 57 Lake Central 26

This was the sort of game that Coach Osborne and the Carmel Greyhounds strive for. Lake Central didn't score until about a minute left in the first quarter and were held scoreless in the third. It was 45-8 heading into the fourth quarter. It was a truly dominant performance through those three quarters as Carmel executed at an extremely high level on both ends of the floor. Sophomore forward [player_tooltip player_id='2140313' first='Aiden' last='Dickerson'] led the way with 12 points while junior forward [player_tooltip player_id='1560952' first='Evan' last='Harrell'] and junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1561125' first='Miles' last='Wiley'] each chipped in 10 points. [player_tooltip player_id='1561121' first='Jamichael' last='Fountain'] connected on three three-point shots in the third quarter and finished with 9 points. Huntington signee [player_tooltip player_id='1296972' first='Alex' last='Couto'] controlled the game with six assists. Zachary Greene scored all 8 of his team-high points in the fourth quarter.

Evansville Reitz 79 Pike 75 (2OT)

What a game this was! It was, without a doubt, the most entertaining game that I've watched this high school season. Evansville Reitz threw the first punch jumping out to a 23-12 advantage after the first quarter. Five first period triples, including two a piece from [player_tooltip player_id='2277793' first='Jayce' last='Swanson'] and Evan Hayes got Reitz rolling early. However, the second quarter belonged to Pike. [player_tooltip player_id='1297011' first='Damon' last='Howard'] poured in 10 points in the period while [player_tooltip player_id='2266896' first='Isaiah' last='Hill'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1534941' first='Jalen' last='Ashley'] each scored 7 points as the Red Devils came roaring back to take a 43-37 lead into the halftime break. Then, it was the Panthers' turn to respond. They recaptured the lead at 54-53 going into the final period.

The fourth quarter turned out to not be the final period though. [player_tooltip player_id='2466205' first='Lavell' last='Tinsley'] connected on a three-point shot right around the two-minute mark to tie the game at 67-67 and that score would end up holding until the end of regulation. The teams remained tied 74-74 after the first overtime before Reitz finally escaped with a 79-75 victory.

[player_tooltip player_id='2466205' first='Lavell' last='Tinsley'] scored 24 points to lead the way for the Panthers. [player_tooltip player_id='2277793' first='Jayce' last='Swanson'] added 19 points, [player_tooltip player_id='1159224' first='Luke' last='Lawrence'] chipped in 13 points, and [player_tooltip player_id='2195051' first='Jaylan' last='Mitchell'] finished with 11 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists. [player_tooltip player_id='1297011' first='Damon' last='Howard'] led all scorers with 25 points in the loss for Pike. [player_tooltip player_id='2194328' first='Jahari' last='Miller'] added 19 points and [player_tooltip player_id='2266896' first='Isaiah' last='Hill'] had 16 points. This game featured a lot of high level talent including three national level prospects in the Class of 2027.

North Central 80 Evansville Harrison 64

This was essentially a wire-to-wire victory for the host North Central Panthers. [player_tooltip player_id='1297098' first='Nijah' last='Jewell'] was on fire in the first quarter hitting three three-point shots and scoring 11 points to lead North Central to a 15-6 early advantage. From there, they would never look back. Jewell went on to lead the way with 17 points while [player_tooltip player_id='1561112' first='Gavin' last='Petty'] scored 12 of his 16 points in the third quarter and [player_tooltip player_id='1297108' first='Papi' last='Rivera'] added 15 points. [player_tooltip player_id='2053678' first='Carter' last='Klaus'] chipped in a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds. [player_tooltip player_id='1297113' first='Shane' last='Sims'] scored 23 points to lead all scorers in the loss for the Warriors. [player_tooltip player_id='1297123' first='Jay' last='Summitt'] added 15 points and 8 rebounds while Brook Thomas had 10 points.
