. Sims, who is known a true sharpshooter, has always been one of the more consistent players in the in-state 2025 class and has proven to be capable of putting up big number. This year, he is still being a big time producer with his 18.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game for the Warriors. Small schools need to get on him because he could be steal of a get. Watch him this week vs Evansville Central (2/6) and Bloomington South (2/8).

It is well-known by this point in time how high we are on Sims here at Prep Hoops Indiana because you won’t find many more pure shooters than Sims. Coming off a really good summer with Indy Heat Red and added a few big games throughout the long AAU season. Going into his senior season, he has a chance to be one of the best volume scorers in the southern Indiana area. Ton of potential for a strong showing at IU-Indy camp.

- Offers: None Listed
- Player Traits: Pure shooter, make plays on ball, taller guard, two-guard long term, strong, solid athleticism, high-volume scorer, catch-and-shoot threat, plays well in transition
- My Quick Thoughts: For sims to not have a public offer is one of the more baffling recruitments out of all the players in the in-state 2025 class to me. He is a pure scorer and proves great size on the wing and on the ball. A strong summer with Indy Heat Red , colleges should really start to get involved if they haven’t already.

One of the best point guards in southern Indiana, Sims was named an Indiana Junior All-Star after averaging 15.1 points and 5.5 assists per game for the Warriors who won Sectional 16 before losing a close one to Jeffersonville in the Regional. Sims is up to #31 in the Class of 2025 after previously being ranked #48. Look for college programs to start really getting involved this summer.
