Evansville Harrison 2028 Shooting Guard Amaury Harrell Amaury Harrell 6'2" | CG Evansville Harrison | 2028 State IN is a Prep Hoops Indiana Top 35 Player and is starting to put it all together on the floor. He’s 6’2” with a physical frame that plays at his own pace and can get a bucket in a variety of different ways. Wouldn’t call him the quickest or most athletic player, but he possesses a high basketball IQ and understands how to get to his spots and finish. Versatile on the defensive end that always seems to be in the right position. He talks well and is capable of turning defense into offense in a hurry with his aggressiveness in passing lanes. The jump shot continues to get better and better as long as he’s catching in rhythm and on balance. His athleticism has taken a jump since the last time I saw him where he’s finishing above the rim on the open break. Will be apart of a talented Evansville Harrison team that’s looking to cut down the nets in March.

The Prep Hoops Indiana Top 35 Prospect in the Class of 2028 was on fire in his first game of the day. The physical 6’2” guard got it going from deep and put it one of the top scoring performances of the day. He plays so well off the dribble getting downhill where he plays with great balance and can contort his body to finish in a variety of different ways. He’s not going to wow you with his speed and athleticism, but he has become a productive player. I love the way he can create seperation and rise up into his shot.

Physical scoring guard that is primed for a big junior season for what should be an intriguing Evansville Harrison roster. Amaury Harrell Amaury Harrell 6'2" | CG Evansville Harrison | 2028 State IN is a relentless downhill driver and uses his frame as well as anybody in the area to get to spots. Soft touch in the midrange and continues to get better from the perimeter.

Talented scoring guard that really came into his own and had a breakout sophomore year for the Warriors. Capable of scoring in a variety of different ways, Harrell has a physical frame that allows him to stay on balance and get downhill where he’s an excellent finisher around the basket. When the defense plays him for the drive, he has shown the ability to get hot from three and take over games.

Physical Combo Guard that has as much potential as a scorer in the Evansville area. Harrell has shown the ability to take over games with his all around offensive game. He’s tenacious getting to the rim. He plays on balance well and plays through any contact. Continues to improve as a perimeter shooter with his ability to get hot in a hurry. He’s a versatile defender with his length and athleticism showing he can guard multiple spots on the floor.

The high potential Sophomore Guard/Wing was a breakout star in Evansville Harrison’s 54-51 win over Washington. Put together prospect that impacted the game on both ends. Physical driver that plays through bumps from the defense. Capable three-point shooter that knocked a couple down in the win. In crunch time, Harrison played through him and he made play after play. Aggressive defender that’s able to guard multiple spots on the floor.

One of the more explosive guards that we watched this summer, Harrell played in several Prep Hoops Circuit events and consistently caught our attention. The 6’0″ guard is explosive end-to-end, gets to the rim off of the bounce, and finishes up above the trees inside. He is a gifted scorer off of the bounce with some real straight line quickness. The Evansville Harrison High School guard looks to be one of the best prospects in the Pocket City area.

High-upside guard for 15u DreamChasers. Displayed an explosive burst to the rim Friday night. Capping things off with a smooth touch around the rim. Capable of making plays as a passer, as I watched him quick, decisive actions with the ball as this matchup went on. Even taking advantage of his long arms to win tough boards. Evansville, IN product should not be overlooked. 

Harrell really caught our attention a couple of weeks ago at the Prep Hoops Circuit Havoc in the Heartland playing with Dreamchasers 15u. He went off for 27 points in one game that we watched showcasing some impressive open floor explosiveness in transition. The 6’0″ guard from Evansville Harrison High School is able to get to the rim seemingly whenever he wants off of the dribble and can elevate to finish at the end of his drives. He will definitely be one to watch in the rising sophomore class in the Pocket City area.

Harrell is one of the next guards to really burst onto the scene in the Evansville area. He was incredibly impressive on Friday night scoring 27 points for Dreamchasers – Miller 15u in a close loss to IE Indy Hoops Gold 15u. The 6’0″ guard from Evansville Harrison freshman was incredibly explosive in transition and lived at the rim as a finisher. He can flat out play.
