Coatesville (4-0): Coatesville has faced a brutal early schedule and come out unscathed. They have defeated 6A state tourney power Reading as well as Central League contenders Conestoga and Lower Merion. They also handed a loss to a talented Bishop Shanahan squad. Their backcourt of [player_tooltip player_id='1379430' first='Amon' last='Fowlkes'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1874234' first='Nasir' last='Williams'] has destroyed opponents off the dribble. At the other end, their menacing defensive pressure has been a major disruptor. Freshman starter [player_tooltip player_id='2485359' first='Colton' last='Hiller'] has torched the nets from deep and proved he can score in transition too. He posted 16 points (2 threes) in the big win over Conestoga. 6'7' small forward [player_tooltip player_id='1576717' first='Larry' last='Brown'] (17 pts. vs. ‘Stoga) has been a double double machine. The combination of Brown's length athleticism, quickness and finishing skills present serious match up issues for opponents.

Father Judge (4-0): The Judge roster is absolutely loaded, and FJ proved that fact when they delivered the most impressive victory in SEPA so far this season – a 53-51 win over Imhotep Charter. [player_tooltip player_id='1197608' first='Kevair' last='Kennedy'] (Merrimack commit) posted 22 points in that win which sent shock waves through the SEPA basketball community. Kennedy's backcourt partner [player_tooltip player_id='1611959' first='Derrick' last='Morton-Rivera'] has played tremendous ball too. Power forward [player_tooltip player_id='1460634' first='Everett' last='Barnes'] (Loyola commit) has provided an interior presence at both ends. Hybrid guard-forward [player_tooltip player_id='1608273' first='Max' last='Moshinski'] posted a breakout game against Academy of New Church -- 11 points (3 3PM) and 7 boards. Keep an eye on guard prospect [player_tooltip player_id='2427336' first='Rahkiy' last='Mason'] who has begun to gel with his new teammates and should have a major impact going forward. FJ has also collected impressive wins over ANC and Reading.

George School (7-0): George School's noteworthy opening stretch of play this season includes wins over New Jersey basketball juggernaut Life Center Academy, MAPS contender Hun School (NJ), Inter-Ac power Episcopal Academy and Archbishop Ryan. Guard prospect [player_tooltip player_id='1483438' first='Peyton' last='Miller'] (18 points in win over AR) has been remarkable. He is an athletic, transition phenom who can also score at every level in the half-court too. Miller does a fantastic job of controlling the tempo of a game. Plus, his on-ball defense is next level. Three-point aces [player_tooltip player_id='1865350' first='Luke' last='Melniczak'] (15 ppg.) and [player_tooltip player_id='2352507' first='Reeve' last='Sysko'] have spaced the floor well. Stretch-4 prospect [player_tooltip player_id='1188624' first='Kasey' last='Fleming'] (14 ppg.) is making significant contributions too. Freshman Ryan Melniczak has earned minutes because of his creative passing skills and tenacious defense. George School is out to this fast 7-0 start despite missing 6'10” Lafayette commit [player_tooltip player_id='1153953' first='Luke' last='Bevilacqua'] because of injury.

Haverford School (7-0): The Fords are off to a tremendous start that includes victories over national powerhouse Phelps School and top ranked New Jersey program Hun School. They have also collected impressive wins over talented local teams Friends Select as well as Friends Central. [player_tooltip player_id='1454260' first='Silas' last='Graham'] has been the offensive catalyst. He is averaging 16.9 points per game. However, it has been Graham's two-way playmaking skills that have really impressed us. Point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1867326' first='KJ' last='Carson'] has been tremendous as well. Recently Carson posted 17 points (3 threes) in the Fords' win over Friends Central. The return of small forward [player_tooltip player_id='1406894' first='Emmanuel' last='Butts'] and combo-guard [player_tooltip player_id='1867332' first='Duke' last='Cloran'] have bolstered Haverford's offensive firepower.
