In 2024-25 Carson averaged 14 points per game and poured in a season high 25 points (3 threes; 10-11 FTAs) versus Malvern Prep. Carson’s impressive senior season earned him a 2^nd Team All-Inter-Ac nod. Now this floor general who can score at every level has committed to Susquehanna University (D3).

This marks the second consecutive edition of our rankings in which Carson has moved up the list of 2025s. The reason for that upward trend is that Carson continues to add pieces to his game and become a more complete guard prospect. In 2024-25 Carson averaged 14 points per game and was a 2^nd Team All-Inter-Ac selection. Carson poured 25 points (3 threes; 10-11 FTAs) during a regular season contest versus Malvern Prep. He also posted 19 points in PAISAA state tournament versus Cristo Rey.  Carson is quick combo guard who can score at every level. Still, what impressed the most about Carson this season was the ability he displayed to operate as an elite floor general. In 2024-25 his ability to attack opposing defenses off the dribble on half-court possessions and then distribute to the open teammates was impressive. Carson’s decision making in the Fords’ transition game was remarkable too.   

Over his last three games Carson is averaging 20 points and 3 made threes per night. So how this versatile, three level scoring guard is still available is a mystery. Last night Carson popped 3 triples and totaled 19 points. When he was not scoring the rock, he was delivering well-timed dimes to teammates. Specifically, Carson’s displayed the ability to get into the paint, draw the help defense, and then slip a pass to the dunker spot or a cutting temmate.  

This quick burst point guard can score at every level or work as a pass first floor general. Carson does a fantastic job of establishing his accurate 3-point stroke in order to set up dribble drives attacks on the rim. His high IQ and court vision make Carson creative distributor. Carson’s decision making in the open court is remarkable. During his senior campaign, Carson averaged 13 points per night as he helped push the Fords to a 21-win regular season. Over the last week Carson posted 25 points (3 threes; 10-11 FTAs) versus Malvern Prep as well as 16 points (2 threes) against GA.

For some reason, Carson was the 6^th man in this contest against SCHA. But it did not seem to bother him as he provided an instant scoring punch (13 points; 3 3PM) off the bench. In addition to displaying an accurate 3-point stroke, Carson proved he is a quick guard with creative handles. Those assets allowed Carson to push the rock in transition for scores and assists. They also got Carson paint touches in the half-court. Friday night Carson proved again that he poised prospect who can play both guard spots and is a plus defender.

The Fords’ lineup boasts several high-profile prospects, but flying under the radar is this multi-skilled guard who last season posted 13.7 points per night. Carson is a lights out shooter from deep. In 20232-4 he buried triples at a 35% clip and poured in 61 threes on the season. When opponents chase Carson off the arc, he uses his quick first step and slick handles to create opportunities for himself and teammates. If he gets into the paint, Carson can unleash floaters or get to the rim for a lay-in. This high IQ guard also does a great job of reading on-ball screens and then choosing the appropriate path to attack the hoop. Carson’s court vision and live dribble passes are extremely impressive too.
