In my opinion, Hiller has a very strong argument as the top 2028 prospect in the country and on Friday evening, he only added fuel to that fire. A 6-foot-6 bully has an elite understanding of creating space for his jumper in the mid-range by using his frame, an array of counters if needed and his high release to make life difficult for any defender. Executive Charter pushed Coatesville to the limit on their second game on Friday evening, but Hiller took over in the final two minutes and there simply wasn’t anything anyone could do about it. If he wasn’t getting to the bucket going right, he’d use a spin move in the paint with a bump to create the necessary space for layups or floaters that eventually sealed the win to finish the evening 2-0.

Our top ranked player in the class, Hiller might be the most skilled player regardless of class offensively. With excellent positional size for his position, Hiller has put on good weight and has the strength to play through contact even against older competition on the EYBL circuit. Hiller had an impressive session I with PSA Cardinals as his perimeter shot making was on full display. Hoping to see Hiller make a lead as a playmaker for others throughout this EYBL season as he draws so much defensive attention with the ball in his hands. Hiller’s older brother is a five star offensive lineman and recently committed to Florida. Hiller holds offers from a handful of top high major programs already but with college coaches unable to directly contact Hiller until mid June, there’s still so much time for programs to get in the mix for his recruitment.

Arguably the best player in the entire state as just a sophomore, Hiller is the unquestioned leader for a Coatesville team with eyes on district and state titles in 6A. A consensus top-3 sophomore in the country, he’s on a run of several consecutive 30-point playoff games despite facing consistent denials and junk defenses on a nightly basis. He’s an elite shooter with parking lot range who needs just a sliver of space to get his shot off, and he’s developing rapidly into an all-around scorer as his ballhandling and athleticism catch up to his shotmaking talent. Hiller got off to a bit of a slow start this season under the weight of massive expectations but is peaking at the right time while looking to cement his name in Coatesville lore.

As his athleticism continues to come along, he’s becoming more explosive and impactful on both ends of the floor. The growth in his physical tools has elevated his overall ceiling. At his position, he’s firmly establishing himself as one of the best sophomores in the country.

Hiller was a member of third team all state team last season and I expect him to make first team this season. Hiller has picked up several high major offers during the summer and fall.

His green light release makes it feel like anything he puts up has a high chance of going in. One of his Hiller’s best traits as a player is he never gets sped up and is in complete control anytime he has the ball in his possession. He also was able to get others on his team involved and was very encouraging to his teammates.
