Mojica was special Friday. The 6-foot-7 point-forward doesn’t move like someone his size—he has the footwork, body control, and feet of a 6-foot-2 guard, but the heft and length of a high major forward. The Masters School 2028 can hit shots from three off the dribble and in standstill situations, he can get into the lane and finish softly with both hands (he had one incredible lefty floater off the glass), and he can even act as a hub for cutters and off-ball actions with his passing vision and ability to see over the defense. He also has some budding athleticism, which he uses to finish lobs offensively and protect the rim defensively. Mojica reminds of a cross between Cameron Boozer and Jahlil Okafor. He has tons of potential and is a surefire D1 prospect who should see his recruitment skyrocket soon.

Strong interior finisher who consistently executes around the paint with soft touch on reverse layup put‑backs and even a put‑back dunk in traffic. Shows good feel on curls to draw fouls, catches wide and handles well along the baseline, and has underrated lateral quickness. Adds value with offensive rebounds including a put‑back after a block, runs the lane hard, and can knock down the elbow jumper. A truly versatile offensive piece.

He consistently crashes the boards, using his strength and instincts to secure extra possessions. Mojica’s all-around effort and motor make him a valuable contributor on both ends of the floor.

Maybe our favorite player to watch on the day, Mojica was a force to be reckoned with as a budding matchup nightmare in the frontcourt. A repeat sophomore in his first year with an up-and-coming Masters School program, the high-IQ forward looks to have grown a few inches and shredded some baby fat since we saw him last, giving him a much more comfortable long-term projection at his natural ‘4’ spot. Mojica showed a diverse skillset with great hands and feet across facets on both ends. It should only be a matter of time before he’s on D1 radars with upside for higher levels as his frame continues to mature.
