With the ball on a string, he brings the scoring ability to play off-ball alongside the handle to run pick and roll actions when needed. He will be weighed upon more and more as the season goes by.

Hamenyimana has been nothing short of incredible to start the season with Harrison, putting up 23.8 points and 6.8 rebounds through his first four games. Particularly efficient behind the arc, he is a comfortable high volume scorer and one of the best perimeter scorers in the Colorado Springs area.

Nitzel's size and IQ allows him to capitalize on his good backcourt size at roughly 6'3. A productive decisionmaker while attacking the rim, he works hard to find the open man when help arrives. Of course, should they not send help, he typically gets the finish thanks to his strength necessary to score through the individual defender. Putting up 15.9 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game, Nitzel has an especially well rounded brand of basketball.

Burton's constant energy has made him a steady riser to start the season, whether or not he makes shot, he is always among the most impactful athletes on the floor. His defensive instincts are constant, always looking to pick the pocket of opponents or manipulate the passing lane for steals.

Nesbitt has been dependable setting up teammates in the open floor, quickly pushing the pace when available. Posting 5.4 points and 2.4 assists for Rocky Mountain, he will be incremental in setting up their array of post scoring options. He is a threat to heat up from distance, capable from the wings and corners when given space.

Jensen looks to attack the lane, playing a big role for Cherokee Trail early on. Capable handling the ball against tight pressure, he has a quick change of pace necessary to create separation one on one. Putting up 8.8 points in his first 5 games, he looks to get into his opponents' space given his low center of gravity to move around opponents.

Glynn brings a dependable jumper alongside the high motor to continue making an impact each possession. Posting 7.6 points in his first few games, Kent Denver has been on an incredible run to start the season. A wiry defender, the guard holds his own at the point of attack, capable of walling off the lane without getting bumped out of the way.

Morton has shown upside as a perimeter shooter throughout the summer, recently posting 10 points in his recent matchup with Rocky Mountain. Bringing a quick release alongside improved strength to attack downhill following a closeout, he fits well within ThunderRidge's offensive system.

Dixon's point of attack defense and passing ability has filled a much needed role for Dakota Ridge, making everyone else's lives easier. Putting up 4 points, 2.3 assists, and 2 steals, the guard is truly a dependable glue guy for one of the best 5A programs in the state.

Backcourt names who has stepped into their new roles with immense confidence and the production to be pivotal towards their own teams' success.
