was on a sharpshooting terror that couldn’t be stopped in the title contest, summoning a clutch 26 points while knocking down 6 three-pointers. Glynn is a rhythm shooter who scorches the hardwood when he gets hot. The 6’3 senior is a criminally underrated guard who can split between defenders on instinct and protect the rock at all costs. With his head on a swivel, fully aware of his teammates’ location at all times, Glynn makes reads 3 steps ahead of opposing defenders. Capping off his high school finale with a state championship, his confidence is fully deserved and flying through the roof. Congratulations to

was arguably the biggest stock riser and was the newcomer of the year, and a huge reason that Kent Denver was able to get another state championship. He came alive to conclude the season, and what he was able to do alongside one of the state’s best scorers ever shows the type of player he is. Sam Flynn averaged 14.8 points a game throughout the year as a running mate and in the postseason looked like a Top-5 player in the class. He scored 20 or more in every game in the playoffs. He put up 26 points in the championship and will surely be named to the All-Conference Team and All-State team. He jumps onto the rankings and into the Top-30 with his run. His run was a fun one and shows that big-time players show up in big-time games.

Glynn was electric for Kent Denver, delivering big plays whenever his team needed them most. He finished with 19 points and 3 rebounds, but his impact went far beyond the numbers. Every time momentum started to shift, Glynn responded. As Denver West cut the lead to five and began building energy, he buried a huge corner three to stop the run. On the very next possession, he stole the inbounds pass and was fouled shooting another three, creating a massive six point swing that completely shifted the momentum back to Kent Denver. Glynn played with confidence and control all night, making smart decisions while bringing an explosive spark. His ability to step up in big moments proved to be a difference maker in the game

Glynn is a player we haven’t seen a ton from but when we did, he let his defense be what separated him. He picks up high, moves his feet and is physical. He plays off of instincts and is dusriptive and those are things that translate. He will have to do that for varsity and allow his defensive identity carry him. With an added offensive growth, that will make him even more dangerous. We expect him to get some opportunity and what happens from there is up to him. He’s lower in the rankings but can turn that around with a big season.

His instincts and work ethic make him a solid defensive asset, and as he takes on a bigger role next season, expect his offensive game to continue developing.

Glynn brings a dependable jumper alongside the high motor to continue making an impact each possession. Posting 7.6 points in his first few games, Kent Denver has been on an incredible run to start the season. A wiry defender, the guard holds his own at the point of attack, capable of walling off the lane without getting bumped out of the way.

Glynn shot it well off the dribble or catch, bringing a fluid form within different situations. While a great shooter, what stood out was the guard’s motor on the glass, always in play for defensive rebounds. Swatting away a few shots at the rim, Glynn looks ready to compete on both ends at the varsity level.
