The top-seeded Kent Denver Sun Devils left the Denver Coliseum victorious in a high-scoring 95-81 state-clinching win against the 10-seed University Bulldogs. This offensively dominant matchup was a sight to see, with numerous players breaking out with scoring outbursts. Two players from each squad had over 26 points in this showdown, and it's time to give all four of these superstars their flowers. The utmost congratulations go out to Kent Denver on an incredible season and a well-deserved piece of hardware that will forever be etched in history. Let's talk about it.

[player_tooltip player_id='1509234' first='Caleb' last='Fay'] showed the box state exactly why he's the top-ranked forward in the senior class, converting on all cylinders and staying relentless, shooting the rock. Fay put on a clinic in the state title game, helping Kent Denver secure the win with a monstrous 30-point outing alongside knocking down 3 clutch long bombs from way downtown. Fay's space creating at 6'4 makes him virtually unguardable, unfazed by pressure with ice in his veins. As his high school campaign rides off into the sunset with a state championship under his belt, Fay can smile knowing that all of his hard work has payed off big time. This is just the beginning of Fay's long journey pursuing hoop dreams.

[player_tooltip player_id='1622249' first='John' last='Elbe'] was the University's catalyst despite the heartbreaking loss. Elbe is an unstoppable 6'5 forward who attacks the rim without regard for any defenders getting in his way. Chalking up 26 points on 10/13 from the field alongside 4 rebounds, it's safe to say Elbe left it all on the court. This narrative has remained constant all season long, as Elbe has progressed his game immensely throughout his high school tenure. Despite his final season coming up just short of a ring, Elbe has nothing to be upset about, producing high-volume offense for a University squad that's counted on him game in and game out for consistency.

[player_tooltip player_id='2396431' first='Samuel' last='Glynn'] was on a sharpshooting terror that couldn't be stopped in the title contest, summoning a clutch 26 points while knocking down 6 three-pointers. Glynn is a rhythm shooter who scorches the hardwood when he gets hot. The 6'3 senior is a criminally underrated guard who can split between defenders on instinct and protect the rock at all costs. With his head on a swivel, fully aware of his teammates' location at all times, Glynn makes reads 3 steps ahead of opposing defenders. Capping off his high school finale with a state championship, his confidence is fully deserved and flying through the roof. Congratulations to [player_tooltip player_id='2396431' first='Samuel' last='Glynn'] on a generational run in the late half of the season and playoffs.

[player_tooltip player_id='2809444' first='River' last='Sawyer'] is at the crux of University's success, playing a pivotal 2-way role that has led University to the championship game in the first place. At 6'3, Sawyer added 26 points, 8 defensive rebounds, 2 assists, a steal, and a block to the box score to keep the Bulldogs close to the Sun Devils. While his efficiency was up and down throughout the game, Sawyer never stopped letting it fly, showcasing how badly he wants to win and succeed. Hooping alongside [player_tooltip player_id='1622249' first='John' last='Elbe'], the two seniors paired up to be a dynamic duo this season. Bigger things are in store for Sawyer's future.

[player_tooltip player_id='2881973' first='Henry' last='Czaja'] is next up to take the throne at Kent Denver, making the most of his minutes while staying locked in to the task at hand throughout all four quarters. The 6'5 junior forward was able to contribute 12 points while dominating the paint, utilizing his concise footwork to get off the looks he desired. The 9th-ranked forward in the rising senior class has an offseason full of exponential growth to attain, and with a state title now attributed to his name, Czaja's confidence is sky-high with no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Expect him to become a pivotal piece of Kent Denver's game plan moving forward.
