Ruey showed a lot of promise last season playing up on the national post grad circuit and in the Elite Prep League as just a sophomore, and playing a major role for Massanutten who qualified as one of just 17 teams for the national tournament. Now he returns to a revamped squad as the only returner, and so far in the preseason it's looking like he's going to have an even bigger year this year. At 6'6” with a strong build he's a smooth athlete who can get to spots and make shots from multiple levels, he has a competitive chip to him that allows him to make plays on both ends of the floor and he's becoming more consistent and aggressive as he develops.

4) [player_tooltip player_id='1588139' first='Connor' last='Lyons'] | 6'7” SF | STAB (#13 Overall)

Lyons had a breakout summer with Team Loaded and STAB after playing more of a minor role for their state runner up team last season, and he's garnering attention from division one schools with the way he played in front of them this summer. At 6'7” Lyons does the one thing that coaches love to see the most, and that's shoot the ball at a high clip from deep at his size. He got steadily more confident throughout the summer and you saw it in his willingness to let it fly from well beyond the arc, he has improved his ability to create his own shot off the bounce and while he isn't afraid to get them up he shoots it at such an efficient rate you want him to take even more.

3) [player_tooltip player_id='1963391' first='Deshawn' last='Spellman'] | 6'7” SF | Hopewell (#12 Overall)

Spellman transfers to Hopewell after being a huge standout at Landstown the last few years, and he's already making a mark with their talented group that looks to make a deep run this yer in March. Spellman has as much upside as anyone on this list, as he fits the mold physically and athletically as a division one wing and has the archetype to be at least a “3 and d” player and possibly more. At 6'7” he is a very good shooter from deep both off the catch and off the bounce, he's a good athlete who can get up and down and play above the rim, he's steadily improving in all facets and he has huge upside as a perimeter defender too.

2) [player_tooltip player_id='2459068' first='Dreylan' last='Creasy'] | 6'8” SF | Blue Ridge (#11 Overall)

Creasy is set to have a breakout season for a Barons team that looks to make a deep run in the VISAA D1 classification, and after showing flashes as a sophomore he's played very well this preseason. At 6'8” he's extremely versatile as he has great ball skills on the perimeter with the ability to make shots and put it on the deck, and his versatility continues to the defensive end where he can guard almost every position on the floor. He understands the game and takes advantages of mismatches whether it's using his speed against slower defenders or taking smaller defenders to the post, he can score the ball in a variety of ways and he plays with a good motor on both ends of the floor.

1) [player_tooltip player_id='1595666' first='Ethan' last='Mgbako'] | 6'6” SF | Oak Hill Academy (#6 Overall)

Mgbako comes to Oak Hill from New Jersey after being a breakout performer on the EYBL Circuit this summer, and while there's a lot of talent for the nationally ranked program expect him to find his way on the floor as he's simply too talented not to have out there. At 6'6” he already looks like a division one player with his strong frame, he's a top tier athlete who is fearless when attacking the rim and his immense talent makes it look like he's on cruise control while dominating some of the top players in the country. He's a natural three level scorer who can create space with the ball in his hands, he can hit shots on the move when he's off the ball, he's dynamic in transition and he has all the tools to be an elite perimeter defender too.
