This is it, the final story from our Minnesota showcases. What ten players were the biggest stock risers from the Minnesota Showcases (ID Camp and Expo)? I give you my ten right now.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126442' first='Bennett' last='Cizadlo'] of Maple Grove. Bennett has been a name people knew but he was a very talented frosh on JV last year and we didn't hear much from him this 15u season. He came to the Expo looking taller, stronger, more agile, and like a guy that can help Maple Grove immediately from both a physical standpoint and a skills standpoint.

[player_tooltip player_id='2466467' first='Lance' last='Janson'] of Hermantown. At 6'7 with a nice looking shot and coming off a solid sophomore year at Hermantown, there is the potential for Janson to be a very interesting stretch forward prospect. The size and form are there, with consistent results this winter things could really change for Lance.

[player_tooltip player_id='1874846' first='Gavin' last='Johnson'] of Cannon Falls. The way Gavin defends, the way he moves laterally and up and down, the way he shoots it at 6'5, all of these things led to us believing Gavin is a better prospect than we first knew.

[player_tooltip player_id='1574215' first='Abu' last='Keita'] of Park Center. The Expo was just another chance to see Abu do some things physically that are above and beyond what we had seen in the past. He is stronger and more explosive than what we had seen and he looks like a scholarship prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='2381221' first='Carter' last='Lowis'] of LCWM. This is a big, long sophomore to be that moves better than others that are in that 6'8/6'9 range. LCWM didn't need him last year as they were a talented veteran team that won a lot of games. But going forward, it will be fun to see Carter's development as he moves reasonably well at that size too.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560744' first='Evan' last='Miller'] of DeLaSalle. The 6'4 wing for the Islanders had a very good frosh season in Class A in Rochester but then moved to the bigger levels in the metro and had his adjustment time. Both during his sophomore year at De and his 16u year with Pulley. But last weekend he looked more skilled and more confident, and ready for the winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2120492' first='Ethan' last='Miller'] of Zumbrota-Mazeppa. At 6'7/6'8, coming off a 9/10 point, 7/8 board sophomore year, and playing very well at the Expo. Ethan is a 2026 that we think could take a major turn for the better this winter as a player and as a prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='2115657' first='Gavin' last='Roderick'] of Alexandria. After seeing Roderick shoot and score in more athletic ways at the rim than I was expecting, my thoughts of Gavin as a prospect certainly shot up. He's taller than I thought too at 6'4. Could he be next year's [player_tooltip player_id='1760312' first='Riley' last='Johnson'] maybe? We will see.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126461' first='Cal' last='Spencer'] of Spring Lake Park. I don't want to get too far ahead of things here, but if what we saw from Cal later in the summer and then at this expo, is something we might see the next three years at SLP, he could be one hell of a scorer. The potential is there for the first boost, now let's see it in high school and we could see another big boost.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126113' first='AJ' last='Taban'] of Stillwater. AJ looked bigger at the showcase than when I last saw him play. And when I say bigger I mean taller, and longer. Less of a 6'4/6'5 undersized post and more like a 6'6/6'7 growing player with size and skill. I feel like with that growth along with what he can do on the court, he is surely a top ten prospect and if he continues to grow, and if he decides to use that size to dominate the post more than what we saw, he can be one of the elite prospects in the class.
