About Lance

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a 6’8 wing that can do anything on the floor. I have always excelled with my three point shooting. I see the floor well and always try to make the right play. I run the court well, can switch onto guards, and find a body on every shot. Hard worker that can play any role needed.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

In a game I’m always thinking of the next play. Whether it’s a bad call or shot, I don’t let it affect me.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am apart of National Honors Society.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have learned to be a leader with my Highschool team. I will always push my teammates to be the best version of themselves. I am a big believer in leading by example like going 100% in every drill.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have battled many injuries growing up. It was a learning experience, as I learned more how my body works and how to prevent injuries.

Lance Janson Lance Janson Lance Janson 6'8" | SF Hermantown | 2026 MN is a six-foot-seven-inch front-court player from Hermantown. Likes to play outside on the wing, and is capable offensively there. Used size well versus smaller defenders and rebounded well.  He can also extend his range and make outside shots, he did it at the camp and this spring and summer playing with Playmakers North.
