I loved the no nonsense production focus from Corbin throughout the day. He is 6’6, strong, and with great balance with the basketball leading to a load of paint finishes and rebounds. Petcoff gets up and down well and has some agility so everything is there to move to a top 75 area prospect at the least. Six-foot-6 productive basketball players that move well and have skill are being gobbled up by college coaches these days and it looks like Petcoff might fit that mold.

Corbin had a strong showing in the opening 5v5 game of the day. At 6’6 he has a strong frame inside, but moves well in the open floor. Throughout the game he showed he’s capable of beating a defender from the perimeter with a straight line drive, and can use his frame to take a bump and still finish at the rim. Corbin did a good job of staying under control when attacking, allowing him to score with efficiency. Someone who seemed to produce every time I saw him play with Starks Elite over the spring/summer, and is now carrying over that production into the fall.

Corbin was a ten point per game scorer last season that had a nice 17u year and really looked good at the Showcase. He is a strong 6’6 that can finish on the move, with physicality, or with the dunk. Rebounded everything for his team and played actively. I would expect Corbin to make a nice jump this winter as he enters his junior year.

Corbin had some nice moments in a close win for Starks Elite . Even while playing up at the 17u level, Corbin’s physicality at 6’5 stood out. He was rebounding in bulk, and secured a rebound late in the game that sealed the win for his team. Corbin does a nice job of providing a target for dump-off passes when his guards got into the lane, and from there could step through and score through contact. Corbin was a 9.4 point per game scorer for Hermantown this past season and really found his stride late in the season.
