Our second run through Class AAA basketball gives us another set of power rankings with an assortment of changes. Have a look and we tell you why!

Totino-Grace and DeLaSalle are far and away the top teams coming into the season and I expect to see them play on the last day of the season. It's going to be highly, highly anticipated. I go with TG at one because they have had the more recent success and I think they have more punch/depth up front than the Islanders.

(1) Totino-Grace

(2) DeLaSalle

(3) Mankato East

(4) Richfield

(5) Mahtomedi

(6) St. Paul Johnson

(7) Orono

(8) Becker

(9) Hibbing

(10) Faribault

Becker is my highest riser (to the top ten) in this resort. Becker had a good team last year and not only do they have almost all of their key pieces back they have good young players coming up. And I think they have been overlooked somewhat because [player_tooltip player_id='2399176' first='Bryce' last='Paumen'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1628775' first='Sawyer' last='Brown'], their two best players from a season ago, are football prospects that are also very good basketball players and they weren't AAU guys. But these guys can play.

(11) St. Peter

(12) Duluth Denfeld

(13) Northfield

(14) Academy of Holy Angels

(15) Austin

(16) Delano

(17) Sartell-St. Stephen

(18) Willmar

(19) St. Anthony Village

(20) Benilde-St. Margaret's

BSM and Byron are good programs that will have good teams. Will they be top ten? Byron has to replace four starters and their coach while BSM has good players but their go to guy expected coming into the year had a bad knee injury. BSM is pry a top ten team with Kobbe healthy but he's going to be out for awhile.

(21) Byron

(22) Zimmerman

(23) St. Thomas Academy

(24) Marshall

(25) Minneapolis Roosevelt

(26) Princeton

(27) Minneapolis South

(28) Grand Rapids

(29) Detroit Lakes

(30) Stewartville

(31) St. Cloud Apollo

Here is the half way point. DL has their best two guys back from a .500 team but lost everything else. Stewartville only has two rotational guys back but it's a good program. Apollo is kind of an unknown, they could have the talent to climb. SSP was hurt pretty good by the [player_tooltip player_id='2126446' first='Mustafa' last='Mohamed'] transfer.

(32) South St Paul

(33) New Ulm

(34) Rocori

(35) Big Lake

(36) Mankato West

(37) Simley

(38) St. Paul Highland Park

(39) Hermantown

Hermantown has some good players but it was a rough 24-25 season. They have some size, skill, and they are a team that could make a quick climb.

(40) Hutchinson

(41) Fridley

(42) St. Paul Como Park

(43) Minneapolis Southwest

(44) Columbia Heights

(45) Chisago Lakes

(46) Fergus Falls

(47) Sauk Rapids-Rice

(48) Hill-Murray

(49) Winona

(50) Kasson-Mantorville

(51) Mound-Westonka

(52) St. Cloud Tech

(53) St. Francis

(54) Minneapolis Camden

(55) North Branch

(56) Robbinsdale Cooper

(57) Cloquet

(58) Bloomington Kennedy

NSP would have been much higher but the transfer of their top two players/prospects coming into the season transferred across district to Tartan. And Worthington, they lost their best player but if those juniors are ready, they could be a much better team despite their struggles last season.

(59) North St. Paul

(60) Worthington

(61) Rock Ridge

(62) Little Falls

(63) Minneapolis Edison
