Caledonia

[player_tooltip player_id='2387331' first='Grant' last='King'] (2028, [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota']). King is a six foot guard that was a starter on a state team last year joining a starting group of seniors that won a lot of games. King scored over nine points a game and played both guard spots, now it's going to be his team. King had a nice 15u season and had a memorable performance against Wilson at the MBCA where King had the better all around game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2824037' first='Aaron' last='Stemper'] (2026, Playmakers South). I think Aaron is a player that could make a huge jump this year. He came off the bench last season and was steady, and he had a good 17u season playing a steady combo guard role. 1AA is stacked by don't be shocked when King, Stemper, and [player_tooltip player_id='2821999' first='Zeke' last='Gengler'] beat some teams expected to be better as they will have a very good backcourt.

Cannon Falls

Brooks Rechtzigel of [program_tooltip program_id='2075674' first='Minnesota' last='Heat']. Brooks had an all State 15u season, was all Freshman Showcase and is a top 20 prospect in his class. This all started last year when he averaged 16.3 points, four rebounds 1.6 assists and 1.3 steals a game on a very good Cannon Falls team.

Ryan Hjellming (2026). The UST baseball commit is also a standout returning six foot guard that scored 13 points per game for a top ten basketball team last season. . He also gave Cannon Falls four rebounds, three assists and 1.6 steals a game and an excellent all around player.

Chatfield

Carson Harstad (2027). Carson made big news last year when his 45 point game broke a long standing school record. And yes he did that as a sophomore. Carson averaged 21 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.5 steals a game last year shooting 81 percent from the foul line and 45 percent overall. He was the second leading scorer in his league.

[player_tooltip player_id='2435184' first='Ross' last='Stoehr'] (2027). Ross was the second leading scorer a season ago averaging a dozen points a game as a sophomore as a 5'11 player that has some strength and is a three sport athlete (football, hoops, track and field).

Goodhue

[player_tooltip player_id='2394170' first='Alex' last='Loos'] (2028, 58 Hoops). Loos put up 19.3 points per game last year leading his team to state and challenging Kevin Wilson Jr for Freshmen of the Year status. Loos scored his 19/20 a game shooting 48 percent from the field while averaging 6.3 rebounds, 2.2 steals and 1.9 assists per game. Played up at 17u with the Lightning at times too and was outstanding. A top ten player and prospect in his class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1951088' first='Luke' last='Roschen'] (2026, Minnesota Lightning). A 6'2 junior guard that SMSU has started to pursue, Luke averaged 17 points shooting 36 percent from the arc last year and averaged 3.9 assists, 6.3 rebounds and 3.4 steals per game. A captain, an all league player and the runner up to Rochester Post Bulletin player of the year.

Lake City

[player_tooltip player_id='2126464' first='Gavyn' last='Lorenson'] (2027, Wisconsin Playmakers). Lorenson has grown to that 6'4/6'5 area and he led his team to another Lake City playoff run. Playing the ball handling role, scoring role, and some stuff around the basket with his length, Lorenson averaged 21 points and six rebounds a game as a sophomore.

Colter Hegge (2026). Hegge is a really good baseball prospect that just a week ago had five rushing touchdowns and a passing touchdown as the team quarterback. He's also a really good 6'3 foot on the basketball court that gave his team 10 points and 8.6 boards a game.

PEM

Jack Schreiber (2026). A 6'4 double double strong guy machine that put together a 15 point, 10 rebound per game season last winter. He's a 210 pound strong guy that returns as last year's top scorer and rebounder.

Caden Castle (2026). A 6'3 forward that is also a strong frontcourt player but more mobile and he's coming off of an eight point, five rebound per game season.

Randolph

[player_tooltip player_id='2120515' first='Colton' last='Ford'] (2026). The quarterback/point guard of the school is a 6'2 talent that averaged 12 points, four boards and three assists a game last year. Ford is the top returning Rocket that leads on both ends. A very good defender and a smart player moving the ball and running the team.

Oren Alexander (2026). Alexander is a quick player with agility that can also shoot the ball very well. Oren scored a dozen points a game last year and should have a big senior season.

Red Wing

Tate Harmann (2027). A 6'1 guard that scored a dozen points a game last season and has a chance to be an All Big Nine player sooner rather than later. Also a very good baseball player.

[player_tooltip player_id='2120518' first='Calvin' last='Nelson'] (2026). An all around player that averaged nine points, almost seven rebounds and a couple assists a game. A 6'4 forward that is also the football quarterback who is being recruited for that position for college.

Rushford-Peterson

[player_tooltip player_id='2126149' first='Cayden' last='Lea'] (2027, Minnesota Lighting). As a 6'0 guard that was all area honored in two sports and all league honored in three, Cayden averaged 17.5 points, four assists, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game last season. Lea can play either guard spot and was one of only four non-seniors honored on the prestigious Post Bulletin All Area team (15 guys honored total).

Will LaFleur (2026). This is another three sport athlete that is a speedy, tough player that put up 12.7 points, three rebounds, three assists and almost three steals a game. Lea and LaFleur were the best two players for RP last year and they both return which is why they will be close to a top ten team in Class AA this year.

St. Charles

[player_tooltip player_id='2824347' first='Josh' last='Barclay'] (2026). Josh is a 5'10 guard that was the Saints leading scorer a season ago at just under a dozen points per game. St. Charles will need a lot from Barclay because six of their top nine players graduated.

Jackson Van Gundy (2026). Van Gundy is a name we all know with hoops and Jackson is a 5'8 guard that was the second leading scorer on St. Charles a season ago. Barclay and Van Gundy should be a great senior guard pair but they will have a lot of new pieces around them.

Triton

[player_tooltip player_id='2119578' first='Pierce' last='Petersohn'] (2026). The now Penn State football committed talent averaged 28.8 points. 12.1 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game through 28 games. Petersohn is a three sport star in football (a nationally ranked player), basketball (conference player of the year last year), and a big time track athlete too.

[player_tooltip player_id='2375788' first='William' last='Thiemann'] (2027). A 6'7 forward that scored 11 points a game last season and teams with Petersohn to give Triton one of the elite frontcourts in Class AA if not the best one. Thiemann has skill and good potential, we expect a big jump from him.

Zumbrota-Mazeppa

[player_tooltip player_id='2120492' first='Ethan' last='Miller'] (2026, [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] DeLo). A 6'8 scholarship offered big that averages 17 points, nine boards and two blocks a game last year making 46 percent of the threes for the season. Then improved to a higher level in 17u leading his team to 30 wins playing against other good bigs.

Hudson Ohm (2026). Ohm scored a dozen points per game last year while grabbing 4.5 boards a game as a 6'2 wing. Also shot 37 percent from the field and is a very good baseball player. When you take Ethan, [player_tooltip player_id='2411079' first='Aaron' last='Miller'], [player_tooltip player_id='2827220' first='Bakster' last='Arendt'] (very good point guard both distributing and defending) and Hudsn, that is a team with potential.
