Riley was making highlight plays all over the floor in the win over Westonka. Johnson’s athleticism has taken a huge step forward this season and it was on full display with a high flying pin block on an opponent in transition and a two-hand throw down in the second half. He was also hitting on shots from beyond the arc, creating looks for himself using the dribble. The Augustana commit also looks very improved as a facilitator, hitting teammates with accurate passes for open shots.

Riley looks to have grown into much more of a three point shooter heading into his senior season. In a pair of games on Sunday he was extremely aggressive getting to the rim, and showed a nice burst to elevate and score through some contact. When he got an edge to attack, he showed he can cover a lot of ground off a single dribble, and does a nice job of utilizing his 6’4 frame to extend and finish. Still showed some of that shooting range from well beyond the arc, with the touch to hit shots off the catch or dribble. Led his team past Richfield before coming up short against Sauk Rapids-Rice.
