He sets solid screens and excelled when popping out to hit the deep shot. He crashed the boards hard every play, rising above to come down with the rebound. Was a deadly threat from 3-point and just seemed to make the right play when the ball came his way. He made great plays defensively, recognizing a post stuck with the ball in the backcourt and sprinting up to pick off a lazy pass. His footwork down low was excellent, being able to get open around the rim. Birley created for himself smoothly, getting to his mid-range shot and knocking it down often. He worked off the dribble mostly having with powerful, straight-line drives, but also showed some ability from behind the arc to sink it with a smooth jumper. Did well to mix up the timing of releases inside to counter shot-blockers, adjusting well midair. He was a fantastic distributor throughout the day too, seeing his open teammates on the outside. Masani did a good job getting to open spots around the arc and being ready to take and drain threes with a quick release. Was great with dives down the middle, though the ball didn't find him in there as often as it should have.
