With the PrepHoops Washington Freshman Showcase taking place last weekend in Auburn, we saw a lot of new faces showcase a little of what they can do on the court. Here we are starting with Team 1.

#346 - [player_tooltip player_id='2926377' first='Trever' last='Stonerock'] - Tahoma HS - Trever has good size and length already for only being a 2029 graduate, likely standing around 6'4". He shoots it well from deep, using his length to his advantage to get his jumper over defenders. He's a great athlete, also having the elevation to get blocks in the paint.

#835 - [player_tooltip player_id='2954110' first='Noah' last='Kim'] - Kings HS - Noah is a hard working player who has put consistent hours in the gym. He has a nice follow through and form on his shot. Kim attacks the rim quickly with his great first step and can finish through contact nicely as he adjusts his body in mid-air nicely. He keeps his head up when handling the ball too, finding open teammates with ease.

#836 - [player_tooltip player_id='2890378' first='La'Prince' last='Surge'] - Federal Way HS - He is a high energy guard who has a high IQ of the game. He is quick on the court and brings a sense of urgency to his team, which is a great thing. He keeps his eyes up at all times, knowing what to do next if the defense changes things up on a fly. his quick decision making skills turn into easy buckets for himself or teammates.

#887 - [player_tooltip player_id='2953722' first='Tollan' last='Farias'] - Rogers HS - Tollan played hard and with high energy all day long. During 3on3 action, he understood communication is key and knows defensive help side when guarding off ball. He rebounded well by attacking the glass every possession. He knocked down open shots from deep when left open too.

#888 - [player_tooltip player_id='2950348' first='Alijah' last='Brooks'] - Kennedy Catholic HS - Alijah was one of the most intriguing prospects at the camp over the weekend. He can attack the lane quickly, having an elite first step and great control when finishing at the rim through contact. He knocked down shots too, being able to create for himself and his teammates.

#889 - [player_tooltip player_id='2951862' first='Caleb' last='Jensen'] - Gonzaga Prep - Caleb is another guard who understands that there is no such thing as over commuication. He is a gritty guard who runs the pick and roll well, finding his teammate if they roll or pop by keeping his head up. He knocks down shots and brings energy/grittiness to the defensive side of the ball.

#827 - [player_tooltip player_id='2955427' first='Sawyer' last='Hudman'] - N/A HS - Sawyer was a late sign up to the camp so I didn't quite see what HS he is headed too. He facilitates the offense to a high level, being able to read defensive weak-spots and attack them. He uses his quickness and agility to get to the rim but plays unselfish and is always willing to dump it down to an open teammate.

#895 - [player_tooltip player_id='2621488' first='Zelalem' last='Poulin'] - Annie Wright HS - *Pictured* - Z was one of the top performers in the entire camp. He has great length already and uses it well on both ends. He finds his mid-range spots easily and creates the perfect amount of separation with his handles or a smooth step-back. He scored from all 3 levels, rebounded well, defended well, and got teammates involved. Poulin is just getting started and has a high ceiling for Annie Wright over the next couple seasons.
