The Prep Hoops Illinois Sophomore ID Camp was a huge success as we saw prospects from all over the state. Some new prospects and others already established as top tier players participated. Here we examine the players that stood out on Teams 1 and 2 at the camp!

Team 1

[player_tooltip player_id='2532316' first='Chaden' last='Harvey'] (De La Salle)

Harvey is a 6'2” shooting guard had a breakout performance at the camp putting him on the radar. He is an explosive guard that can score with the best of them getting downhill. He excelled in transition getting to the rim, finishing around defenders, and getting on the offensive glass. Also showed some passing feel as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125623' first='D'Angelo' last='Perkins'] (OPRF)

Perkins was a late addition to the camp that made an impression. The OPRF 6'0” guard is a strong bodied prospect that finished well around the hoop on drives, cuts on out of bounds passes, and put backs. Good in transition and is a capable three point shooter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2532352' first='Terrion' last='Wallace'] (Sacred Heart Griffin)

Wallace really popped to us in the 3 on 3 setting. This 5'9” lead guard is a slick ball handler that creates for himself and others. He can really pass setting up his teammates especially shooters for open looks. Wallace can shoot it draining multiple threes.

[player_tooltip player_id='2390391' first='Khevel' last='Diambuana'] (Romeoville)

Liked what we saw out of this 6'4” wing from Romeoville. Big and strong wing that plays with a ton of energy. Did a little bit of everything using his acceleration and quickness. Got on the offensive glass for a few put backs and shows potential as a defender.

[player_tooltip player_id='2532328' first='Jayden' last='Tyce Bullock'] (Marist)

Bullock is a 6'0” guard from Marist that we got to see for the first time. Combo guard that scores in transition with his speed. Blur with the ball in his hands getting past defenders with his handles and hesitation. Can also knock in a three on occasion.

[player_tooltip player_id='2446278' first='Tereik' last='Hurd'] (Sacred Heart Griffin)

Hurd is an interesting prospect to track. The 6'3” wing has upside with his size and strength. At his best running the floor in transition, taking his man off the bounce, and playing off his athleticism. Showed flashes as a shooter with solid form on his shot that can continue to be developed.

[player_tooltip player_id='2403910' first='Logan' last='Wessel'] (Mt. Carmel)

Wessel is a 6'1” shooting guard from Mt. Carmel that could see minutes as a sophomore. Crafty guard that makes plays off the bounce and got to the foul line. Like what he brings as a connector and his overall instincts for the game.

Team 2

[player_tooltip player_id='2406294' first='Alexander' last='Enyedi'] (Wheaton Academy)

Enyedi was masterful with his performance in the first set of 5 on 5 games! The 5'10” combo guard is shifty with the ball juking defenders all over. He was fantastic with his creativity and ball handling attacking the cup for scores. Did it over and over again. Took it coast to coast in transition with his speed scoring on creative layups and runners. Also has instincts defensively getting steals and taking them the other way.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125668' first='Nedas' last='Venckus'] (Lockport)

Venckus is a 6'1” wing that has caught our attention over the last year. The two guard has solid size and nice athleticism. In the camp setting he excelled most in the open floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2532333' first='Jordan' last='Johnson'] (Rich Township)

Johnson was one of the more pleasant surprises of the camp. The 6'1” two guard had an epic shot making display during the 3 on 3 games. He poured them in one after another creating space with his handles on step backs and pull ups. Has athletic pop getting to the rim and has range on his three point shot.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125677' first='Reggie' last='Stevens'] (St. Laurence)

Stevens is coming off a massive summer in July where we saw him play at a super high level. He is a good shot maker that opened eyes with [program_tooltip program_id='2078408' first='Team' last='Rose'] because he can knock in shots from deep. In this camp setting he played free and easy getting to the rack in transition. Threw down a ton of big dunks! Has a chance to be one of the better scoring guards in the class.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125656' first='Kaijay' last='Brown'] (Simeon)

Brown is a young wing to track at Simeon. This 6'3” shooting guard is a lefty with a long and rangy frame. He has a sweet lefty pull up game knocking in shots from the perimeter with a sweet pull up jump shot. Loves to stop and pop in the mid-range. Gets on the offensive glass for put backs.

[player_tooltip player_id='2349619' first='Brady' last='Harris'] (Francis Parker)

Harris is a smaller guard that can really break down defenders off the bounce. Plays with creativity and flair. Also has range on his shot!

[player_tooltip player_id='2125684' first='Tej' last='Johnson'] (Lake Forest Academy)

Johnson stands at 6'0” and excelled with his scoring in the open floor. Went coast to coast on several occasions, reverse layups, and got in the paint for runners. Could be the next quality guard out of LFA.
