With the 2nd part of AAU starting back in action, here are wings from the class of 2026 to keep an eye out for the that will opposing team's scouting reports for the upcoming school season.

Gio Moimoi - Kentridge

A 6'3 guard that can score on all three levels. Moimoi can finish at the rim with either hand, posses the ability to create scoring opportunities inside the perimeter and can also knock down outside shots. Using their long wingspan, Moimoi tallies blocked shots, whether it's a guard trying to score from the perimeter or a post trying to back him down inside the paint. As a sophomore, Moimoi received a 2nd team all league award this last season, not to mention that it was his first year of varsity action. With having two more years of high school basketball, I anticipate there to be more growth and exposure. This upcoming season at Kentridge should be a break out year for Moimoi as he will be one of the main contributors for the Chargers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1601813' first='Michael' last='Masini'] - Gig Harbor

Standing at 6'7, Masini has showed himself to be one of the best up and coming wings in Washington. From using his size advantage and good footwork in the paint to convert on two pointers, to being able to hit jump shots from the elbow and the three, to snagging rebounds on both ends of the floor. I've watched Masini on multiple occasions, get a rebound and push the ball in transition by himself, whether it's converting a lay up or kicking out to his teammate for a three. Masini puts a lot of pressure on opposing teams, being someone that can contribute to all factors of the game of basketball. Masini returns to Gig Harbor where I anticipate him to have a breakout year for the Tides.

[player_tooltip player_id='1863244' first='Mason' last='Sonntag'] - Puyallup HS

A 6'4 lefty wing that can get downhill and has the ability to finish well at the rim. I watched Sonntag score in the paint on bigger defenders, distribute from the high post to give his teammates scoring opportunities and hit open threes. Sonntag's ability to get middle with his size generates a lot of attention from opposing defenders. Sonntag's can guard multiple positions, which is a great upside to his game. Sonntag displays poise and patience when he steps on the court. Sonntag will return to Puyallup HS next season and will look to take on a bigger role as two senior forwards will be graduating.

[player_tooltip player_id='2426450' first='Kai' last='Ngono'] - Franklin HS

At 6'3 being only a sophomore right now, I believe Ngono is one of the top athletes in the state regardless of class. Ngonos ability to run the floor in transition, snag offensive rebounds and convert second chance points is a great contribution to any team. With Ngono displaying athleticism every time he plays, he also possesses the ability to knock down shots, protects the rim and can handle the ball for his size. Ngono will begin to turn heads of coaches this upcoming basketball season as he takes on a bigger load at Franklin HS this upcoming basketball season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2935280' first='Kaden' last='Thielman'] - Bainbridge island

A 6'3 wing with a long wingspan that can score on all three levels. Thielman's ability to hit three pointers, get to his spot to get off his one dribble pull up, and his the ability to finish at the rim are great upsides to his game. Besides offense, I think Thielman's ability to play defense on multiple positions, helps his game tremendously. Thielman knows how to use his size to tally rebounds on both ends of the floor that contributes to his teams second chance opportunities. Thielman will be returning to Bainbridge Island this upcoming winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1685495' first='Mateo' last='Cummings'] - Lake Washington

The 6'5 wing from Lake Washington, [player_tooltip player_id='1685495' first='Mateo' last='Cummings'] may arguably be one of the best shooters in the state regardless of class. Cumming's ability to shoot the ball is a nightmare for any opposing team. Coming off of a screen or catch and shoot, Cummings needs very little room to get his shot off. Aside from his shooting ability and high IQ, Cumming's uses his size advantage when snagging defensive boards. I expect Cummings to be on a lot of opposing teams scouting reports next November.

Marques Meneese - Rainier Beach

I've watched Marques during the spring and really showcase his game for [program_tooltip program_id='2076260' first='FOH' last=''] EYCL 16u. A stat sheet stuffer, the stocky wing 6'3 wing uses his size and speed to get down hill convert inside the paint. Meneese can contribute to all categories of the game, scoring, rebounding and playmaking. What I'm most impressed by when I watch Meneese play is that he competes every play. Compete on offense, on defense, his urgency to rebound the ball on both ends along his quick thinking in transition is a great addition to any team. This AAU season, I've watched Meneese take it upon himself to guard Beauchamp Elite's best player, which ultimately led to a 30 point victory for Meneese's [program_tooltip program_id='2076260' first='FOH' last=''] Seattle. Meneese will suit up for the Rainier Beach Vikings this upcoming season, coming from Renton High where he helped the Indians place 6th at the latest WIAA State Championships.
