Ngono is one of the more explosive athletes in his class and although he only stands at 6-foot-4, he’s able to make an impact around the rim while going up against bigger guys. His leaping ability is unreal and he uses it to attack the rim, attack rebounds, and block shots with unrelenting effort. He’s just an awesome athlete who sticks to his strengths and plays with a high motor. He had two games in their last EYCL session that were near double-doubles, 8 points 7 rebounds vs All Ohio Red, and 8 points 10 rebounds vs Iso Joe.

Kai has great length and size on the court but can also play the guard position if needed with his solid ball handles. He is an impressive athlete who flys around the court on the defensive side of the ball and runs the floor in transition smoothly, being able to finish at an high level. His defensive presence will be huge for Garfield next year, who will again be a top team in the entire state.
