2026 Rankings Update: New Additions - The Best Facilitators

A few of the new faces who have been proactive facilitators for their programs, making the right read more often than not.    An instinctual playmaker who brings assertive decision making while attacking the rim or taking quick trigger jumpers. Defensively Psaute reads the floor at an above average level, likely one of the most dependable options for Ralston Valley outside of their star backcourt.     Elmi is a high volume shot creator who brings in plenty of skill creating space on shot attempts. Recently growing to about 6'1, the guard has shown capabilities matching up along the perimeter, thanks to his wide reach.     Often tasked with breaking a press or simply setting up the halfcourt offense, Nitzel has been among the most dependable facilitators within University's offense. An assertive ball handler versus pressure, Nitzel is a quick decision maker, hitting backdoor cutters with ease and threading the needle when necessary.     Kheng is comfortable playing at a fast pace, quickly taking advantage of open driving lanes. Comfortable attacking the rim versus tight pressure, he is a dynamic scoring option with either hand. At the point of attack, Kheng holds his own, assertively walling off the lane and taking away space early on from opposing ball handlers.     Siegmund has already made strides this past season as a well rounded complementary playmaker. Capable of knocking down the open three from distance, he was among the more dependable floor spacers within Fruita Monument's half court offense. Quick making the extra pass, Siegmund looked to facilitate post scorers down low or draw in the defense for wide openings on kickouts.     Taking on a large role with 7070's 16u group, Jones is a durable downhill scorer, adept at creating driving lanes one on one. Bringing a fairly strong frame within the backcourt, Jones often leverages his positional strength to move around opponents for high efficiency looks at the basket. Continuing to progress as a facilitator given the gravity he draws inside the arc, Jones has a shot to be a key contributor for Mesa Ridge next season.     Chavez is a willing playmaker, actively setting up teammates for good looks around the perimeter. A knockdown perimeter shooter as well, Chavez holds his own on attempts off the catch.     Gutierrez works to attack open space while the defense is still rotating, often pressuring the rim for drives or kickout passes to perimeter shooters. Bringing in good strength for his position, he has routinely shown signs as a high motor guard that creates chaos for opponents.     May routinely creates scoring opportunities for himself around the rim, a quick decision maker when reading the defense. Adept at leveraging closeouts for driving lanes, May looks to draw contact around the rim, as well as an efficient free throw shooter.     Gutches looks to pressure the rim, certainly an assertive scoring option out of ball screens or while attacking closeouts. Capable of making quick reads out of the pick and roll with either hand, the guard continues to create easy opportunities for teammates, particularly with Liberty this June. His capabilities as a perimeter shooter will play a large role in opening up the rest of his offensive game, although he brings plenty of intrigue.
