Some of these names weren't on the list coming in, but by the end of the weekend, you kept finding yourself back on their court. It wasn't hype, it was just how they played. They had feel, effort, and moments where they impacted the game without forcing it. This group made things interesting, and now they're names you can't really ignore moving forward.

Use code dev30 for 30% off and secure access as we're in the thick of grassroots season. Comfortable operating on the block, he showed touch and control when finishing, converting consistently when fed. Flashed the ability to take over in spurts and swing momentum. As his conditioning and off-ball movement improve, his interior presence and scoring efficiency give him real upside moving forward.

Boykin showed intriguing versatility, operating at times as a point-forward with the ability to initiate offense and push the break for Team Evo. He rebounds well and sees the floor, giving him the tools to impact the game in multiple areas. His game is still developing, but the flashes are there as he has size, feel, and skill that can translate. As he sharpens his focus and consistency, his ability to create and influence the game could take a jump, and he's a name I'm curious to see where he ends up in a year or 2. Solid weekend for him.

Larsen is a lead guard for Olympic Elite and was one of my favorite players to watch on the weekend. I like guards who play like guards. An unselfish leader who makes teammates better, and he did that. Larsen controlled tempo and kept the offense organized without forcing action. He played at his own pace, delivering passes that led directly to scoring opportunities while taking care of the ball. Larsen showed comfort picking up the pace when the game got tight and made smart reads despite there being plenty of pressure being applied to him to slow him down. He turned it on and started scoring to secure the win. He showed he could score from all 3 levels and is a player who I feel could get some varsity time next year for Vista Ridge. I'm high on Larsen.

Zaheer was a player who stood out to me as he's a player whose game went beyond the box score. In the game that I watched, he stood out as a confident scorer who understands how to find space and capitalize. He moved well without the ball, slipped into gaps, and stayed ready to shoot. Zaheer added value by getting out in transition and converting easy opportunities, and he had a few of those moments. His ability to space the floor and create offense within the flow gives him real value as a scoring option, and he was a new name that jumped onto my radar.

Charlie is a player who pops early in games for Team Evo White as he sets the tone for the team. What I like is that he's playing high-level basketball, despite the ball not always being in his hands. He moves well without the ball, he consistently hits the 3-ball when it comes to him, and he also had a few finishes at the basket. They let him be the roamer defensively, and he stepped over and made a play while also holding his own. He's a tough player who isn't afraid of contact; he fills in the gaps and is a player who does a bit of everything. He's a player I want to see be a bit more aggressive, as the skills are there; now it is about getting the confidence to follow suit. Charlie is a new name that I am curious about after the event, and he'll be on my radar moving forward.
