Larsen is a lead guard for Olympic Elite and was one of my favorite players to watch on the weekend. I like guards who play like guards. An unselfish leader who makes teammates better, and he did that. Larsen controlled tempo and kept the offense organized without forcing action. He played at his own pace, delivering passes that led directly to scoring opportunities while taking care of the ball. Larsen showed comfort picking up the pace when the game got tight and made smart reads despite there being plenty of pressure being applied to him to slow him down. He turned it on and started scoring to secure the win. He showed he could score from all 3 levels and is a player who I feel could get some varsity time next year for Vista Ridge. I’m high on Larsen.
