About Jackson

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

A knockdown 3 point shooter that plays great defense and gets to the rim well. I take pride in being a leader and always hustling.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My main goal is to just improve and I know that can only be done with extremely hard work.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I was selected and served as member of our school leadership council called Vista Nations and twice have received all-academic award honors.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve been able to develop into a better leader and also how to persevere through tough losses.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college program that will help me grow not only in basketball but in all aspects of life.

Krug made a major statement this season by carrying the offensive load for his Vista Ridge and proving he can be a go to scorer. Averaging 11.7 points per game while exploding for a season high 25, he showed the ability to take over when needed. What makes Krug so intriguing is his three level scoring package. He can knock down shots from deep, rise up in the mid range and attack the rim with confidence. His crossover is a real weapon, helping him create separation and get downhill where he puts pressure on defenders. Krug’s ability to generate offense for himself and others makes him a tough matchup every time out. As he continues to add strength and consistency, his rise feels very real. Players who can create their own shot the way Krug does are always valuable, and his stock is clearly moving up
