Bash in the Desert: Sunday Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This weekend, I attended the <strong>2026 Bash in the Desert</strong>, which featured most of the 15U division at <strong>Millennium High School</strong> and included some 14U-17U players as well. He rebounded well for his position and brought toughness on both ends of the floor. He moved well without the basketball, understanding how to relocate and get to his spots. He competed hard, rebounding in traffic, and also showed offensive versatility by stepping out and knocking down perimeter jump shots. He showed confidence attacking defenders and was able to create space to get his shot off effectively. He stayed within the team concept and never forced the action, but still found multiple ways to impact the game offensively. Once there, Batts displayed good decision-making, whether attacking the rim himself or dropping off clean assists to teammates.
