Tre is one of the top PG’s in the entire state with his ability to feed the open man, keep the offense flowing, and he made the right plays on the floor. Teammates seemed to run faster when he got the ball as he passed players into easy scoring opportunities, and that plays is contagious. He was the team’s X factor and what made them so dangerous. In his senior year, he progressed in every game. He put up 9.5 points and was a Top 5 passer in the state at 6.3 assists per game. Tre found a groove and was able to be impactful in every outing, and is a player who can play at the next level.

From his ’22-’23 freshman season, averaging less than 5 PPG on JV, to his senior season coming up with 6.7 APG, 1.5 SPG, and 9.2 PPG. Gutierrez has thrived this season, becoming a massive contributor to Green Mountain’s electric offense along with other high-impact players such as G Sam Mielenz Sam Mielenz 6'4" | SG Green Mountain | 2027 State CO and SG/SF Jake Swanson.

Gutierrez has shown impressive growth as a lead guard and playmaker, consistently finding ways to impact the game on both ends. He thrives attacking off the dribble, using his quick first step and strong finishing ability to get into the paint and score through traffic. His spin move has become a reliable weapon, allowing him to create separation and finish with touch around the rim. Gutierrez stands out as a natural leader who is vocal, composed and always looking to create opportunities for his teammates. His blend of control, creativity and confidence makes him a key floor general and a rising name pushing his way up the rankings

Gutierrez is one of those players who just keeps gaining confidence every time you watch him. His game has taken a big step forward recently, and this weekend he was out there dominating. He got to the rim with ease off the dribble and had no problem finishing with layups or smooth short jumpers. He was knocking down shots from all over the floor and did a great job finding open teammates for easy buckets. His transition game really stood out — he was making the right reads and playing at a pace that felt a step ahead of everyone else on the court

Gutierrez is a nightmare for defenders with his speed and insane handles. He can blow by anyone in front of him, and once he’s downhill, it’s tough to stop him. His jumper is on point and he finishes strong at the rim. What really sets him apart is his court vision. He’s always in the right spot to either score or dish it out to a teammate for a dunk or three. On defense – he’s got great control over his body and always puts himself in the right position to make a play. Getting buckets off him is a real challenge for anyone

Tre Gutierrez is another junior poised for growth next season, displaying solid passing vision and leadership throughout the year. Averaging 4.6 assists per game as Green Mountain’s floor general, Gutierrez orchestrates the offense and sets up teammates for success. Heading into his senior season, he will have an opportunity to take on a bigger leadership role and contribute more on both ends of the floor.

Although Gutierrez’s performance wasn’t as effective in the championship, his natural ability as a floor general still shone through. Averaging 4.6 assists per game during the season, he showcased solid passing vision, especially to Simon Lunsford Simon Lunsford 6'4" | SG Green Mountain | 2025 State CO . I look for him to grow into an even bigger leadership role along with an increase in his assist average next season as a senior as Green Mountain strives for another shot at a championship.

Tre is definitely a player you don’t want to miss when he’s got the ball. Great at creating space around, which opens up all sorts of possibilities. Tre combines a super quick release and high-percentage shots, making him efficient on the court. In the semis he dropped 24 points, shooting 7 of 9 from the field. Excellent mid-range jumper, can hit the three, and his speed and ball handling make it look effortless for him to drive to the rim. What really stands out is how he always seems to put himself in the perfect position around the basket, grabbing boards and pushing the ball up the floor in transition

Gutierrez works to attack open space while the defense is still rotating, often pressuring the rim for drives or kickout passes to perimeter shooters. Bringing in good strength for his position, he has routinely shown signs as a high motor guard that creates chaos for opponents.
