He is very good shooting from deep and can break players down with the dribble. Bryson Ebarb Bryson Ebarb 6'0" | PG Mansfield | 2025 State LA is his back court mate and is good at facilitating and dialing from distance.

Justin Slaid Justin Slaid 5'11" | PG Bossier | 2026 State LA has taken on the point guard duties and has done a good job. He is good at getting in the paint and scoring at the rim or finding shooters. Tonio Ambler-Barr Tonio Ambler-Barr 6'4" | SF Bossier | 2026 State LA is the latest forward in the Bossier offense who can score multiple ways. He is very talented and has a huge upside.

Peyton Schnoonover is the best athlete on the team. He can score by attacking the rim or shooting from deep. Defenses really have a tough time with him because of his versatility. Davin Murff has played well this summer. His ability to knock down the three helps stretch the floor.

E’Jayden McDonald E’Jayden McDonald 5'9" | PG Captain Shreve | 2026 State LA is the best on ball defender I have seen this summer. He has created havoc for any guard he has defended. Marcus Lofton Marcus Lofton 5'10" | PG Captain Shreve | 2025 State LA is one of the top point guards in the 2025 class. Not only is he a facilitator, he is a big shot taker. Lofton definitely embraces last shot pressure.
Tioga
If Kervin Johnson plays and is not playing 7 on 7, he will be a big difference maker. He can score from multiple levels and is a freakish athlete. Point guard Kaydhn Hardie Kaydhn Hardie 5'5" | PG Tioga | 2027 State LA is one of the better soon-to-be sophomores in the state. His ball-handling skills and three point shot make a big impact.
Northwest vs Evangel Christian (2 PM)

Courtlon Young is an outstanding point guard who can change a game by shooting the three. He may just be the best shooter in the state. Markez Davis Markez Davis 6'2" | CG Northwest | 2027 State LA is a top 5 player in the 2027 class. He is a do-it-all guard who can change the game in multiple ways. They are one of the top duos in the Boot.

First round games will be all day June 29th and the semifinals and finals will be June 30th. These are well-balanced match-ups. We should have a good weekend of basketball in north Louisiana.
