Shiflett will be without key football players on Tuesday evening. This will be the time to put his personal stamp on the team because of that. Shiflett will need to show he can score and facilitate without some of his weapons. He is a creative finisher and a knockdown shooter, so scoring should not be a problem. Being a leader on the defensive end will be what we need to see from him.

Shiflett is the best point guard in the parish. From his freshman year to now, he has proven that his point guard skills are at an elite level. Shiflett knows how to penetrate and find teammates in scoring position. He is also a creative finisher at the rim. His ability to knock down the three makes him a multiple level threat. Defenses need to know where he is at all times.

Competitive guard, with a complete performance on both ends of the court. He was an efficient off the dribble shooter from deep. Which further opened up his shifty playing style as a driver, where he drove to score for himself or set up teammates. He has great body control and lift on drives, able to contort himself around rim defenders. There’s a bit of electricity to his game with his live wire scoring ability. But he’s not all flair, there’s small guard swag to his defensive style. With a willingness to take charges and generally battle.
