Ferguson is a well-rounded player and athlete with the physical tools, skill set, and mentality to thrive at the next level. He’s one of the few players I’ve seen who can break down defenders on both ends of the floor, using his size and skills to create opportunities. A capable mid-range shooter and a solid three-point threat, Ferguson’s real strength lies in his ability to push the tempo and apply constant pressure on the defense.
With a football player’s build, he’s a matchup nightmare as a guard—rarely at a size disadvantage. Ferguson’s strength allows him to finish through contact, but he also has the agility to shift defenses and maneuver for a variety of finishes around the rim. Whether it’s finishing in traffic or attacking in transition, he can elevate for dunks off baseline cuts or in one-on-one situations.
Ferguson’s combination of size, skill, and athleticism makes him a lock for the next level, and I expect him to make an immediate impact once he arrives.

Ferguson may be the most traveled player of the unsigned top ten as Zachary has played everywhere. He is a small yet explosive off guard who can shoot, score, and playmake. Xavier can finish above the rim in transition or score off a set in the half court. His athleticism and basketball IQ make him a player to covet in recruiting.

Before he became the explosive two guard/wing he is known as, Ferguson began more as a facilitator. He has the capability to hold someone on his hip and still find players in position to score. While he is more of a threat scoring, Xavier can direct an offense just as well.

Ferguson is probably the most athletic guard in the top ten. His ability to attack the rim constantly puts pressure on defenses. With defenses on their heels, it allows Ferguson cleaner looks to shoot from distance. On the defensive end, he plays aggressive, man-to-man defense. The athlete Xavier is makes the difference for him on both ends. He can change a game with explosive plays on offense or defense.
