Prep Hoops Missouri continues its spotlight on some grassroots clubs around the state. Today, we take a look at Gateway and their 15u team. Gateway has been around the St. Louis area for many years. They do an excellent job of sending players to all different levels of college. Circuit wise, they compete in the UAA.

This team is composed of only St. Louis based talent. I like the exciting backcourt duo they have in [player_tooltip player_id='2334909' first='Will' last='Powers'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2334929' first='Will' last='Foulk']. The two young guards can score it at a high level. Foulk is more of a jump shooter while Powers has the frame to connect on tough shots around the basket. [player_tooltip player_id='2334905' first='Gassim' last='Toure'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2339267' first='Jayden' last='Woods'] are both x-factors in terms of athletic ability. Toure is an international prospect that has great bounce around the basket. He makes powerful dunks and rebounds well above the rim. Woods is a slender guard who can also play well above the rim. These prospects have a high ceiling due to their natural athletic ability. [player_tooltip player_id='2348237' first='Wyatt' last='Slay'] is a glue guy on the wing and has little holes in his game. An all-around player with great feel and passing ability. [player_tooltip player_id='2334942' first='Deyton' last='Lucas'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2334910' first='Sekou' last='Cisse'] are well built prospects that you don't often see on a 15u squad. Lucas is a 6'7 forward who can make the three and has gotten a lot better over the course of this past season. Cisse is a 6'8 shot blocker that carved out a big role for Principia this season. Each should benefit from earning a lot of reps this summer.
