On a balanced and dominant Gateway team this spring, Guethle has had more than his share of moments, leading the squad in scoring in multiple games. He’s been on a shooting tear, letting it fly whenever given space and playing with a ton of confidence. Sam is capable of rattling off multiple threes in a short stretch, showing just how quickly he can heat up and stay hot. Like most elite shooters, he does a great job of finding space, relocating off drives, and playing off his quick release. A 6’3″ shooting guard who has emerged as an impact perimeter player in leading Seckman to a 7-3 record, which includes the championship of the Hillsboro Tournament. He has good length and an excellent shooting stroke from 3-point range. He is currently averaging 14 points a game while shooting 42 percent from 3-point range.
